Nukes??

Im not sure about the nuke rule, is it the most nukes fired or the last nuke that determine the loser?
For 1v1 - Any player causing Armegeddon will lose.

For 2v2 - Teams are able to use Nukes. If armageddon does occur, the TEAM WHO LAUNCHED THE MOST NUKES loses.

So I would say that the player or team that plays the most nukes will lose as well.
um wyld, as far as I remember if you look on this forum, Excite stated that whoever launched the most nukes in 1v1 also was declared the loser. The confusion is begining to mount around here.

Is it possible to have an assistant admin who owns or plays the game? I think that would be helpful.

Leander, I am not assisting with the game.. I am the Lead Admin for the game. And the rules state exactly what I put in as my reponse to Karniv0r.

And in my response I told him that yes the player or team that plays the most nukes will lose as well.

So tell me.. where is the confusion here??

this is not what was posted by excite on the forum. I am sorry if he didn't update the rules. He made the call that the person launching the most nukes losses. you clearly stated in your original post that the player launching the LAST nuke (which causes armageddon) would be the loser. Clearly there is a difference.

And as for being the lead admin. I understand that. That is why I posed the question as to whether it would be helpful if you had someone who played the game as an assistant to sort out some of these things for you.
Leander.. I will review the the forums.. but the rules that we can go by are the rules posted under the rules section. If it isnt in there we cant us it to rule on anything.

That is the rules. And in my post I did state the following "So I would say that the player or team that plays the most nukes will lose as well." I do believe that is what you also said isnt it??
Sigh.

I understand. In your follow-up post, yes that is what you said. In your original post, no it is not what you said. I don't want to beat around the bush. Of course, what the rules say should be used. The rules were not clear, and probably are not now either. You stated 2 different things for 1v1 in your 2 posts.

Please read the last line of this post. I have said the same thing in ever post. Not once have I changed what I said. Please re-read it and you will see that.

This is not a debate, and this discussion is over.

Plain and simple, if it isnt in the rules it can not be used in a ruling. So if there are things that are in the forums that need to be in the rules, I do need to know about them. (And that is a ruling from TWL brass, not me)
Things can be discussed in the forums, but ALL rules must be in the rules to be official - No Exceptions.

Oh and Leander I got your email, I will be responding to it today.
I am not trying to be arguementative, nor disrespectful. I thought there was an inconsistency in your posts so I noted it. That is all. There is no reason to be curt. As to the reply I am looking forward to it.
no problem

I do apology for the curtness, but I was getting frustrated about repeating the same thing over and over. However, that is no excuse. So please accept my apology for it.

Thanks
Never mind all this, I just read the rules once again and found all the clarification I needed...sorry about that.

THE MOST NUKES LOSES, that is the rule.

Ok, don't want to inflame all this but I see the point of Leander and I think the rules need clarification:

Here I understand that if I launch only one nuke but it's the last one for the countdown of Armegeddon I lose.

"For 2v2 - Teams are able to use Nukes. If armageddon does occur, the TEAM WHO LAUNCHED THE MOST NUKES loses."

This one is cristal clear, the most nukes loses...

"So I would say that the player or team that plays the most nukes will lose as well."

Ok, so now you say the opposite than the "causing Armmegedon will lose rule for 1vs1" ...common sense tells me your last line is the good one but that's not what the rules say.

My two cents, don't hate me because i'm beautiful
