Rule clarification

In the 2v2 rules it states:
"The Ladder is based on a best 2 out of 3 maps scenario. "
Then states
"* THIS IS SUBJECT TO CHANGE IN THE ABOVE RULES SPECIFIC TO THIS LADDER"
Where are these 'above rules specific to this ladder'? Are they under the "General Game Settings" category header?
Please clarify if we should be playing 1 match or best 2 out of 3. If we are supposed to be playing just one game, please update the rules and/or change the category header at the top to read "specific game settings", Thanks.

its one map... the admins are lazy, and copy and paste the bottom part of the rules from other ladders

Actually your are wrong Killmasta. The general rules apply to all ladders in TeamWarfare. There will be some adjustments to them in the near future. In all cases, Ladder specific rules override General rules.

I have no idea how to change that stuff. I don't think an admin of my type can do that. I think only a higher op can change stuff on that page..?

Just write up what changes you would like made to the rules and then get with TC about them.

Actually TC, I know that general rules apply to all ladders, but tell me this. Do they type in those general rules every time? NO! they probably copy and paste it... Notice I also said bottom part. By bottom part I mean "General Rules"

No, they are not copied and pasted. When you set up a rules page you have two options for general rules selection...ladder or league. As a result they update across all ladders when they are changed..no cutting or pasting involved

I still dont see a clear answer in this thread. Is it just one game? Becuase it was me that played them and at the end they thought it was 2 out of 3 and i thought it was only 1. Thanks. I know killmasta said one map but that could mean you play the same map 3 times

1 game, 1 map. Also TC, I never really thought about that... You still get my point though, they dont type that part in again for every ladder.

Rule Clarification for 1v1 and 2v2:

All Matches are 1 round (1 map = 1 round)

The General Ladder rules are just that "General Rules" Please see the specific rules for information for a specific ladder.

Number of Maps: 1
Number of Teams: 2
Members Per Team: 1
Time Limit: Unlimited
Map Style: Defender chooses Type: Random Land, Random Sea, Random Island (or the Secret varients of these).

1 map is played.
