Data recovery successful!! :) <3

Hey all!

The drive has been completely recovered and all the images and videos were saved with no issues! WOOT! Just got the confirmation this morning and the data is being shipped to me as of this morning Thanks again to everyone that donated and to those that offered their support and well wishes. Mad to all you guys

As soon as I get the data back (I think they're sending everying on a DVD or a CD), I'll post some of the videos that were saved. Apparently it went out via a next day carrier, so maybe I'll get lucky and receive the goods tomorrow.

Yeah, she was all excited when I called her We're anxious to get the vids back. My parents (Divorced) live in a different city and barely see her, so I'm thinking for xmas I'm going to make a flash generated CD for them that is basically a chronicle of the videos so they can see how she grew up in her first year. I'm poor, so I'm trying to be creative

Mmm..can i ask one question? Why dont you back up all your pictures on cd/dvd? I mean, i have 3 disks of photos...in a safe box..just in case shit like this happenes.

They're slow as shit and I hate using them. I just keep dupes now on two systems. So now I burn them at work as I need them and I have a much faster burner here.
