Seriously though, most lawsuits arnt frivolous, its just that people pick up on these since they are more interesting, rarly will you ever hear a win for consumer protection on the news.
And i dont like most lawyers, but we do have a system of justice in this country, so let it be.
Maybe one day youll find yourself in a position where you are suing becuase you felt wronged...
As for the NRA, they are the single most powerful/influential lobby in the country, regardless of if you are democrat or republican. I think they buy their policies/votes very efficiently, hence why i dont like them.
If you havnt notices, conservative groups tend to have alot more money to splash around in politics than the liberal ones.
Point taken, i just took that example randomly, ill be more careful in future.
Most Republican candidates consist of wealthy people to begin with. (Ie. the California Governor case.)
Many of them are ex-(or current) CEO's, or wealthier members of society. So they are more likely to have money, to frivolously toss around for political gain.

I seriously doubt that the NRA is responsible for any more campaign contributions than any other major special interest groups are. It's quit the opposite here in California. I hope you hate Gray Davis, since your logic expresses animosity towards campaign contributing PACS (which I totally fell are the #1 cause of all political corruption).
