FINALS!

im a freshman (highschool) and i have 1 week to study for 5 finals, i just wanted to know how i should do it, should i cram the night before each final, or should i study each day until the exams, or should i blow exams and play bf 1942 each day?

You should always try to learn the material in small chunks, and then review all of it before the final exam. At least I have been telling my self this since I was in High School, but still haven’t achieved this goal. Instead I consume as much coffee as I can (I hate coffee) and cram the entire night, until the test. Once I even started to chew on coffee grounds to stay awake, like chewing tobacco. I guess this makes me a masochist for pain. So at least shoot for studying weeks before (or in your case days), if not your going to feel like a sleep deprived, Guantanamo Bay captive. Hope they go well for you....Mine are over for College : P

what worked for me when i was i highschool was this.

CHEAT. Sit beside some smart chick, hit on her, so maybe she will give you awnsers. This wont work if your very ugly. If you are stuck with ugliness, then yuo simply got to look over your shoulder, to the smart guy behind you, and get some awnsers off him.

Go through it all ahead of time this week, ask teachers anything you're not quite sure on. Testing relies pretty heavily on short term memory, so if you have it fresh from the week before and then cram the night before and read over your notes an hour or so before the test you should have most of it real ready at hand.

Spend about as much time relaxing as studying and don't get too worked up over it. If you can stay clam before and during the testing you will blow away people who freak out and have panic attacks.

be like me, cram it all in a few minutes in the gap between each test. just go over the 1 biggest area that you think will be on the exam, and get the main ideas into your head, and as soon as exam starts, write them anywhere on the paper. works good with math, as you have that scrap sheet and you can scribble formulas all over it from your short term mem.

although revising with a friend or two in lunch when your bored and doing nothing is also usefull.

well its too late for me to pay attention in class, i mean i did, but now i cant remember anything....and btw why would anyone study for math...that has alwasy confuses me...i love being good in math
