One quick question for you Naut (no im not trying to start up a whole new flame war, just curious)

If this proves your point that it will help middle class families, why would you have told me that i was wrong when I said that my family would only receive $700 if it helped to prove your point?

WoOt!!! i'm gettin back another $800 thank you G.W.B this will definatly help me with my credit card dept. Booya!!!!
Oops my bad.

You WERE right about middle class families getting back $700 (many will get more) - but at the same time, with that fact, it just goes to show that this tax cut will be helping out middle class Americans - which proves you wrong.
Exactly...While $700 isn't a hefty amount of Capital, it is money. Multiply this by millions of other households, like your own, and it becomes a substantial amount in the economy. Considering 80% of Senators believe the money taxed from citizens is theirs, we should be grateful for every dime we get to keep. This $700 could have easily been pissed away on pork barrel spending, to get their greasy, pig, asses back into office.

I, personally, would rather have it going into my pocket, which is the reason I choose to work. Not to purely support another frivolous program. Many believe we receive money from the government, because of a tax deduction; this isn't true, we simply get to keep more of the money we have already earned. The more we earn, the more we get to keep. How can anyone be against keeping more of their own money? Unless of course, you are unemployed and living off of Welfare.

^^

The only other way to be against it is if you are not supporting it, hoping it will fail, so that the Dem's have a chance in 2004. We all know that if the economy does well before the election, the Dem's will have no chance.
