What a joke! Losers crying for attention at that site. ROFL
LOL...The Attorney General for the Johnson Administration??? ROFL!!! "Get with the 80's guys."

I just hope people are smart enough not to make the same mistake twice...
If it were a website devoted to impeaching a democratic president im sure most of you would have it on your favorites already
No. We had a legal system that did that for us. Clinton was an embarrasment that dug his own grave. He had no morals, ethics or honor.
^^ Surprising because the same could be said for our current resident fucktard aka Bush.

YEAHWHATEVAH!
Wrong. Bush has morals. he Does whats morally right and not politically correct and the left cant understand this IMO

If bustin his ass to further widen the gap between social classes by undermining honest middle class families and sending em into poverty, while reinforcing the upper tier fat cats is his version morals then I guess I sure am glad that he's in office! WooHoo!

YEAHWHATEVAH!
Show me where this has happened or is happening. He has many advisors saying this is a good thing. Some people like Warren Buffet say its not good. No one will know till it implemented and we see what happens

I personally dont like the Tax cut plan. But I dont think that has to do with morals. Its a financial business plan. Not everyone is gonna agree on the best way to start the economy again

Actually Snake, if ya get the time go ahead and pick up the May 29th issue of Rolling Stone. There is an extremely interesting interview with a Paul Krugman whom writes an economic column for the New York Times. He has also written a book called, 'The Great Unravelling: Losing Our Way in the New Century'. Do yerself a favor and read it.

YEAHWHATEVAH!
I studied Economics for my major. Tax cuts have been 100% effective in all cases. I do not like the dividends break. But, we have to let the thing run its course to see if it works. If we do nothing, we are no better off. Like I said, I dont completely agree with Bush on that. But I am no expert.
None of us are experts, which is why I pointed you in the direction of the article.

YEAHWHATEVAH!
I will check it out bro
Peoples opinion of the Bush administration varies with whatever media source they are reading or watching. It all boils down to how has he served you as president? Has anyone felt the widening gap of the social classes? Me I could care less, I am considered middle class and have never been better. I think Bush has done a great job.

Clinton broke the law, he harpooned a whale.
Bushes tax cuts give very little to middle class families but tons of money to big business, that widens the gap between classes.

In my experience the middle class is suffering during bush's term becuase of the fact that my dad was laid off about 2 or 2 1/2 years ago (cant remember exactly) and it took him that long to find a jobm which happens to be in a different state. Im certain that the tax cuts will NOT help my dad find a job somewhat closer to my house becuase my dad told me that the tax cuts would only give him about $700, and that was before the newer figures, which are waay lower.

Thank you Bush for giving us this great oppurtunity!!

Ok.

Now try to refrain from slanderous mudslinging. If I have to say it again, thread goes bye bye.

happy posting

Ok Kevin, I hate to do this but I have to tear your post apart (for good, not evil). This is what I see from your post. Keep in mind this is my little, biased, world view on economics.

"Bushes tax cuts give very little to middle class families but tons of money to big business that widens the gap between classes."- kevin184

First off, welcome to a predominately controlled Capitalistic society, if you want even-steven wealth distribution, may I suggest Socialism. Don't think I am degrading it, but I personally do not believe it can work as a realistic system. Where is the determination and motivation factor, in the work place, without economic incentives? (Example: should I become: A. Mail Man or B. Doctor, and pay for 8 years of college and have a higher anxiety job for the rest of my adult life. After all they will both receive the same amount of money in an idealistic “Marxist” society). Not that pure Capitalism, "stomping on the have nots that die in the street,” is much nicer but at least this fuels motivation to achieve, instead of purely existing.

This is very sad, I am sorry for your pain, but to blame any president for this, for the most part, is wrong. This current economic market is referred to as a recession. Some might even go drastic and call it a depression (big recession). Is this the president’s fault, and was Clinton terms really so much better? Clinton’s reign boosted 200 million more jobs than President Bush’s, making this answer simple and obvious for many.

I see this differently then they, presidents only have a fiscal ability to control the economy. The computer boom and technology advancements in the mid 90's boosted our market by leaps and bounds. Lowering unemployment to unprecedented levels, unfortunately, all economic systems go in cycles. We are suffering, now, from the “downs.” For the later part of the 90’s we were living in a big bubble, that eventually had to pop.

Popped it did, I believe that 9/11 magnified this inevitable part of our system drastically (anyone see the airplane industry during this period?) This, along with a complete lack in confidence in corrupt CEO's has resulted into the very sluggish economy (that started declining at the end of Clinton's term) that we have today.
“dad told me that the tax cuts would only give him about $700”

That is not a very significant increase in capital. Yet it is still money in his pocket, if he didn’t get it back it would be spent by the government, like the rest of the money they tax from us. Every cent of money, that I get to keep, adds up.

I am not an advocate of this tax cut; I personally think the money could be more efficiently used to stimulate the economy elsewhere. I do believe the pros will be boosted stock market, and an overall increase in GDP. We won’t go into cons (inflation).

Like all other fiscal policies this will not happen rapidly, (for that you want monetary, done by the FED) it typically takes over a year to see the beginning of its implementation.

umm i believe class warfare is the libs game...
Some of you bring up good points. I'd just like to state my opinion, whether you agree or disagree....I don't care, these are my thoughts, take them as you will, but there is no point arguing with me about them because I don't expect or demand you to have the same views:

1) Clinton got caught...he wasn't doing anything many other presidents, including JFK, did themselves. The economy was great with Clinton, he did a good job leading this country, but not a good job setting a good example.

2) I like that Bush is pushing hard at the middle east, although I think his motives aren't pure. Part cleaning up after daddy and part putting oil money in Chaney's pocket.

3) Tax cuts are nice, but if the taxes I pay can be turned back into the economy by helping small businesses start up and increasing the number of jobs available to citizens, I would much rather my dollar go there.

I guess that's all I got to say on the matters being discussed.
I don't see how anyone , realistically, can argue any of your points Yypir. To some degree, I agree with all of them.
