A gun itself cannot kill anything, it requires someone to use it for it to be dangerous. Fix the problem don't make problems.

guns are only meant to hurt and kill

banning knives, cars, and blunt objects isn't the same.

they serve a legitimate purpose, even if they also kill more people than guns do every year.

it's just not the same....because I'm only afraid of guns.

they make me terrified...therefore they need to be banned ASAP

Uh huh....anyway, ever notice that when bad people do bad things with guns society resolves this by sending in good guys with guns? Wouldnt it just make sense to have good guys with guns everywhere?

I'm no expert on medieval society or history but I don't think episodes like that happened often.

Guns are ONLY meant to harm/kill/injure/wound people and animals while everything else you listed has a primary purpose but can be turned into a weapon if the person using it wanted to do so.

If they weren't able to get ahold of the gun in the first place then they wouldn't have been able to kill anyone - with a gun - to begin with.

You can stop someone using a knife/blunt object much easier than someone using a gun. Plain and simple.
