Tribes

I've been studying a lot of native american tribes lately. My great grandmother on my Father's side was a Cherokee.

If our ancestors had decided to share the the land and co-exist with the natives instead of killing them all and burning their settlements to the ground I wonder what the U.S. would be like today. I think that we would have had MUCH less immigration outside of Europeans because the native americans would have tried their best to limit the amount of people coming in and slavery (as we know it) probably would have never happened or at least been much more taboo.

Greedy/Consumerist/Capitalist white devil ruins it for us all yet again...

I've been told that Snake is half cherokee and choctaw. Can anyone confirm?

I do agree with you here. Were it not for the genocide of their civilization we could have learned great things philosophically and socially from these great people. I also agree with you that it was impossible for them to make any kind of a comeback after what our ancestors did to their society.

yeah...that or this is how they would have handled technology with or without the white mans intervention.

sad to see something as simple as alcoholism bring a collection of people to their knees faster and harder than smallpox did.

i blame evil capitalistic, white person, science for yeast converting simple sugars into alcohol and CO2. without that they could have done so many amazing things with our planet.

This exclusion is an OUTRAGE to the Lenni-Lenape Indian tribe. I was told to express their opinion to you.
They ask you to please contact the Tribal Elders to rectify this issue.
