so because a game is ~13 years old or whatever, people are automatically babies when it was released? holy jump to conclusions batman. i mean there are people playing t2 in their 60s so your point is just dumb.

either way, t1 is bad and t2 is good is all im sayin afk

Also pretty sure Tribes 1 has more players

T1 died out to T2 base...that's how you know it was not a very good game lol because T2 base was about the worst T2 has ever been.

Those were dark times...

I played both from release. T1 will always be better to me because it was first. Dave whatshisface killed the franchise by trying to sell it to people that had no idea what tribes became. It was the epitome of teamwork: one amazing player could make a difference but 5 decent players working together would win.

If t2 had been released like classic it would have been a totally different story. But it wasn't: t2 base turned away some of the best innovators of the tribes franchise. It doesn't matter what the games are like now... T1 is basically call of duty with jet packs and t2 is completely dominated by cheaters. Both are dead and only played by people like me who enjoy reliving the amazing memories the games gave me and by people that just need something they can be good at by any means.
