damn that is very cool....love the idea behind it.

but not sure how useful it will be for tanks. tanks are seldom ir targets. most ir weapons are still primarily for attacking aircraft. surface to air.......or air to air style.

javelin is kind of a hybrid.

but revolves around image based targeting platform.

most surface to surface is this way now.

air to surface is also designated based......so the target can cloak all it wants when a laser is put on it. good luck. still very cool and thanks for posting it.
