I live in barcelona. The sentiment among the youth is "the gloves are coming off". Parliament meets every Tuesday, yesterday was it. The last Tuesday of "freedom", for within 7 days Spanish gvt is set to ask for a EU bailout, but not to bail out the gvt, but to bail out the banks. Spain cannot print money and bailout its own banks unless it has huge reserves, which NO ONE has. ECB will have to "print" more money (more pixels in a screen). Yesterday was another day to mark in the calendar, the gvt had to set up THREE layers of barricades so the politicians could meet and give the country away. The security perimeters was set up quietly the nite before, at 3-4AM One radio commentator said "you know it is BAD when the gvt KNOWS it NEEDS protection from its own citizens, I hope THEY know this, and realize they are in uncharted territory for this generation". Folks...Spain is NOT Greece.

Is this sarcasm?

We're almost all Greece. We're spending money we don't have at unsustainable rates and it will end with us ending it or it will end it for us.
So... Aren't you happy you left Florida for greener pastures?
So all the entitlement whores are gonna riot?

doesnt look good
Look at them, they act like it's gonna change something that they protest. The GOVT does whatever it wants. There's no stopping it
This is why:

1) You don't spend money that you know that you do not have and can not pay back. If you don't like being subservient and owned by lenders don't spend their money without questioning the terms of the contract.

2) You don't give up your guns. When you give those away you become nothing more than an angry sheep "bahhhhing" in a pasture. Your farm handlers will know that you are defanged and flock, fuck, and fleece you any way they feel like it.

If that was in America, someone(s) would have been shot, killed, and/or assassinated by now. But much like Greece, the people of Spain will have to learn to throw Parthenon rocks and ultimately accept their dicking.

Good stuff though.........keep us updated Aria.

Our MSM is too busy trying to tell us how we need to spend more money than keep us informed on what is actually going on around the globe.

Rumor has it from the people at zerohedge that Spain is pretty much DOA within the next month. That it's an all out burn sale going on over there and they are giving away everything they possibly can.
Riot, bring down the banks and nationalize them. Repatriate the wealth from bankers to pay off / pay down national debt. If the current president won't do it, then you force a mid-term election through riots to get a person who will fight for the people.

Once money from banks, casinos, pay day loan groups, etc is repatriated, those groups have no power and the government is once again run by the people. Amend the constitution to ensure a regulated free market, no uncontrolled capitalism raping the system for the benefit of the few.

Viva la revolution!
I'd argue it isn't "uncontrolled" capitalism raping people.......but methodically controlled crony capitalism raping everyone.

There is a reason the FED was created........and it wasn't for "deregulation" purposes.

And the FED, much like the IMF, is a centralized banking group pulling all the strings and fucking all of us.
As the video above illustrates........

Goal #1 of the Fed "To stop competition from newer banks".

Yep, uncontrolled, unmitigated, Capitalism that is most certainly not.

Socializing banks is a cute idea........

But this isn't new. All of this has happened before, by primarily the same lenders, the same global players.

We refuse to learn from our past so we have no choice but to repeat our mistakes long into the future.

- this is Obamas fault, even though it has nothing to do with him

- the last President who tried to do away with the Fed was assassinated

- Romeny talked about 47% of the people not paying taxes. Since the Supreme Court said corporations were people he must have meant GE, Verizon, and the other top 25 corporations in the world that got more in tax subsidies than they paid in taxes. But no one has an issue with corporate welfare.

He also was talking about US military fighting overseas and their families. The overseas military combat pay is tax exempt and the families get so little money some need food stamps or assistance. But at least Romney finally acknowledged the troops in a speech.

No arguments on any counts........

I conceded to all of that.

We clearly live in the welfare/warfare state.

One that we can no longer afford and will clearly end the same way as Greece/Spain in the not so distant future.

there's a LOOONG way for the USA to be Greece. Long way.

sure, if the USA continues to spend more than it collects in taxes, yeah, it will go kaput.

really, guys, would you vote for a candidate that promises to balance the budget in one year? in 3?
