Wait are you serious. I mean didn't I state this and Get attacked by the liberals that Obamas plan is what America needed?

Sucks being right

When we can squeeze MOAR from the wealthy who dont pay their fair share instead of broaden the tax base.

I Obamacare........

So long as I don't have to pay for this massive monstrosity.

That's about the consensus I get from assholes over here in California. Everything is a good idea so long as it is funded with other peoples money, other peoples effort, and gives the illusion of giving them something for free.

Sure if you believe the polls. Hell, it shouldnt even be close right?

Owebama is going to lose, but it wont be a sweeping victory for romney either. People wont be voting for romney, they will be voting against owebama.

2010 should have been a wake up call.

Romney is down huge in Michigan, down big in Ohio, down in Virginia, down in Florida... there just aren't enough electoral votes out there to swing Romney's way. He isn't going to win, I would be willing to place money on it.

I agree with you. I am just stating reality. I won't be voting for either of them.

Uh, if you want to go with RCP averages, that's fine. I leave you to figure out why you've been suckered. Just know that worked out very badly for WTS when he tried to use that as a source.

If you want another hint, just ask.

Hey Mock, I just finished watching this:

Interesting.

There has been and will continue to be medical cost inflation regardless of the ACA. It should be expected that expanded policy coverage would lead to increases in policy premiums. The premium increases "blamed" on Obamacare are credited to several new policy coverage requirements that are listed at the bottom of killet's linked article. Improvements in health information management is hoped to improve health outcomes through better and more seamless transfer of information. I think the scale of benefits expected as a result of the transition are a long-term goal (a person with heart disease isn't cured tomorrow because of the digitation of his records). These benefits are probably estimated based on potential costly errors that are avoided (which are difficult to estimate) and may impact the frequency or magnitude of malpratice suits.

We also have to keep in mind the effect of community rating at the time of implementation. Generally speaking, the premiums for those in their 50s (families with teenage or college-age kids) may be reduced while those for younger people will rise significantly.

Man that is a crazy site........but it makes so much sense.

Speaking of Cali insanity, just got my $120 fire bill from last year......and already owe another $120 for this year.

Thanks Gov. Moonbeam.........

They apparently are having a hard time paying their basic bills in CA, so they are charging me twice for services that I have already paid (3-4x over).

Between some of the highest gas taxes, sales taxes, income taxes and every other tax they can fabricate, you would think that everything would be very well funded.......but I guess this is what happens when special interest groups and public service labor unions run your state.

Always money to send illegals to college on the state dime, pay police officers 200k for new cars and 5k a month in salary, but nothing for roads, legal citizen education, and fire departments.

Amen.......amen.....

Unless you are a massive corporation, part of a huge public service employee union, or an investment banker neither of these asshats is going to do anything that measurably benefits you.

Both will divert and move money from one pocket (your pocket) into another.

instead of getting more taxes passed, they pass, fees.

so, while our taxes are through the roof, we also get hit with fee after fee after fee.

telling ya, even though Romney doesnt have a chance in hell to win, what he will offer to the banks will be better than what Obama will and for that, he will be selected.

voting is no longer about electing someone, its about selecting one over the other.

bahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh........

We get that bigger and more convoluted anything usually = more bureaucracy, more red tape, more middle-managers, more bungling inefficiency.

Sadly, however, we were sold on the idea that more people in the pool would = lower premiums for everyone.

So, much like everything too fucking big to fail........we were sold a bucket of lies and deception.

Anyone with an ounce of common sense knows that once you make something mandatory and compulsory you lose any and all control over it..........and have essentially implemented a monopoly. Especially when that something still somewhat belongs to a private industry and not in the hands of the government (who is bad enough at escalating costs and inefficiency).

It doesn't take much imagination to see how this is going to pan out for America..........and the politicians do not care. Either it will give them their dream of universal healthcare (government controlled), or they will continue to get fat off of privatized health care exploitation (via insane insurance prices).

Meanwhile our options have been limited........we no longer have any real say in this topic.......since the government decided everything for us..........and we can only have escalating premiums and reduced quality of care to look forward to in our immediate future.

Woooott Obamacare!!!

It's about figuring out which monster wants to fuck us harder........picking between who we want to ultimately become slaves for.

Such a bunch of bullshit.

And I love how "fees" that I have to pay.......with threat of repos, fines, and leans are somehow not taxes.

Mother fuckers are always trying to undermine prop 13........what they fail to grasp is that it is the last flood gate keeping natives in this despotic state.

I don't even believe that. The financiers don't need anyone to "offer" them something. That would imply that either Obama or Romney actually have something to offer beyond what they have been told they can.

They will gauge the general level of dissatisfaction in the country, and appoint whichever candidate will be most able to keep the focus off of the real issues for another 4 years.

Well yes and no at the same time.

If Owebama wins, the spending will push us over a fiscal cliff as he continues to push his ideologically driven vision to transform the States into a social democracy akin to western europe. Think Greece. The republicans will own congress, both houses (despite the loss of an easy pick up seat in MO). It is unlikely he will work with congress and will blame everything on them -he's no Reagan the Great or clinton. He already set the tone right after his inauguration "I WON" to the republicans. Recovery will not come with him in office.

The problem with romney is that he is a RINO at best. Depending on 'repeal and place', US businesses are expected to spend the trillions they have been sitting on. This translates into a recovery for the american economy. The problem with that is the influence in politics will not change and if anything, will increase the money spent on lobbying by special interests. Gvt spending will decrease, but will still exceed revenue until the economy picks up more steam and the tax base widens.

Make no mistake, both have alot of corporate backing. I have no illusions to that at all.

Interesting.

It is an interesting process and is clearly a mixed bag.

I know our founding fathers intentions were noble with implementing our electoral college. They feared a direct Democracy, mob rule, might makes right system.

That is why they wanted us to be a Republic, why they drafted a Constitution, etc.........

This is also why we have a Senate and a House of Representatives, because they didn't want the biggest majority to be able to enslave the minority.

The electoral college was yet another mechanism that they hoped would stop politicians from pandering to the biggest cities in our nation at the direct expense of smaller cities and states around them.

I believe it was Virginia and Maryland that had such a hissy over this concept, since the two were polar opposites, that had either of them not been given their way, to some extent, neither would have ultimately joined the union.

Today the electoral college is still a mess and much like the delegate system is probably close to being removed.......rightfully or wrongfully is obviously up for debate (though I personally stand behind it).

That is why the Democrats were so big about the Census push a few years back in 2010. They wanted to make sure that the "Hispanic" demographic, legal or illegal, one of their biggest voting blocks (70-30) were sufficiently represented.

And it worked.............

Which is why this pissed them off so much.

http://news.yahoo.com/voting-laws-may-disenfranchise-10-million-hispanic-u-015903517.html

It's cool to have to show ID to board a plane, open a bank account, buy a beer, some cigs, go see a movie, rent a car, a hotel room, drive to the store, but not to vote apparently.

Which just further proves that nobody really believes in shit........other than hooray for me and fuck you.

Make others give me more so that I can do less.........

That's about all that anyone truly stands for anymore it seems.

The reality is that CA's pols have completely fucked its citizens to maintain their power. There simply isnt enough of you to throw the bastards out because they have bought so many votes through public unions and cater to illegals.

So instead, people are saying fuck it and leaving to better economic environments.

You know, I kept my eye on Cali during my service and watched my retirement dream turned to dust. I would love to have gone back home, but there is no fuckin way after seeing how bad things are there. It was reinforced when I went back last year to visit family and friends and saw it all first hand.

Cali used to be such an awesome State.

Both favor bailouts.........both subscribe to cronyism and zombie corporations being propped up indefinitely off of ceaseless taxpayer money.

Up until Bernanke said he would do QE3 to reduce unemployment........Romney said he would re-elect the guy again. Now that it's gotten political, like the FED trying to lower unemployment, thus hurting Romeny's economy argument against Obama, he suddenly acts like he wants to somehow see change.

In the end it all boils down to politics and political aspirations. With very little other conviction or objectives to be found.

Romney isn't a fiscal conservative........he raised spending in MA by over 5% a year.

He isn't going to reduce taxes........except perhaps on those who can most afford to lobby.

He isn't a deficit hawk........he just promises, at the time he promises it, to reduce the rate that we will go further into unsustainable debt.

Granted it can't be worse than Obama (from my standpoint), but it's also not good enough to pretend any of it makes me give a shit or will get me off my ass to vote for him.

Only if I lived in a swing state, where my vote mattered (as your video illustrated) would I even begin to entertain the notion. Since it doesn't.......I'm voting third party.

Such a beautiful place killed by freeloaders, illegal immigrants, hippies, yuppies, and cock suckers.

It truly saddens me too. I've got a few pieces of property in the State and at the rate they keep implementing all these new "fees" I might never be able to afford to actually live in any of them (yet alone retire there).

California is a glowing example of what happens when good intentions and altruistic ideas run out of other peoples money to spend.

I guess this is where you and I have different fundamental beliefs.

I don't believe Obama is pushing anything that is ideologically driven. I think he is simply doing what he is told to do, and by the very same people that told Clinton, and Reagan, and Bush, and will possibly tell Romney. And by the same people, I don't even mean the same class, or the same type of people. I mean literally the same people. They have a goal, and I think it has moved beyond simple wealth accumulation. They want power over all.

The pint I am making is that I truly, TRULY believe that it makes no difference who you vote for. They will parade their selection of puppets in full view for us to choose, and then they will "allow" whichever one we choose to make a few select changes to the overall program in keeping with the political beliefs of the people who voted them in. What gets passed and what doesn't is all carefully controlled in such a way as to look like some type of change, while in reality accomplishing the very same thing.

The rich get richer. And I don't mean millionaires, or even billionaires like the Bill Gates' of the world. These people can still lose their money depending on what happens to their companies economically. I mean the financiers, the people who are in charge of creating the money to lend to the govt. Right now, that 16 trillion is owed to a privately owned bank. 16 TRILLION DOLLARS, TO A PRIVATELY OWNED BANK. Do I need to repeat that again?

That's what I mean about my dyed turd comment. I can appreciate your hatred of the social democracy system in europe, as you have been fighting to stop systems like these from taking over in the US. But what is the difference? You are currently losing your freedoms at a frantic pace, and you in most likelyhood pay more than 50% of what you make to the govt, under threat.

The only thing Romney and the republicans can offer is the same slavery wearing different clothes.
according to the Kaiser foundation, (i went to the same source as the OP) insurance premiums under the 8 years of bush doubled from 5.xK to 12.xK

also large portions of obama's healthcare reform do not kick in until 2014. right wing posts here are rarely put into context. but carry on with the circle jerk.

The right is more virtuous than the left. They have twice as many virtues because they have double the standards.

Have to say that's my largely my opinion too........

I mean for crying out loud........we have people yelling and screaming that Bush killed the economy, that Bush caused the housing bubble, that Bush killed jobs and spent us into bankruptcy.

We have a former President saying we can't afford to go "backwards"........back to an era of deregulation and speculation..........even though the bulk of it took place under his own fucking watch.

http://www.foxnews.com/opinion/2012/09/05/to-save-obama-clinton-ignores-his-own-deregulation-moves/

Presidents don't matter. Only the people who pull the strings and make the big decisions matter.

Those people don't change every four years.........they largely never change..............

Those are the people who matter and they are not elected by any of us. If you want to know who controls and manages this economy look at the people who never leave the fucking White House........the people who never have to move out and are always part of every decision.

Oh ok........well then I will hold my breath until 2014 for my obligatory insurance premiums to drastically reduce in costs.
