I fostered a contempt for Canadian Geese form an apartment I lived at. There was a flock of those hanging around all year because there was a central pond in the complex and idiots would feed them.

Those things shit everywhere. I'm talking the size of a small dog. Every 2-3 ft. in all directions. You had to walk looking down.

As a kid, I use to like watching their relatively symmetric v-formations as they migrated. I rarely see a good V from them anymore. Too many welfare geese who stick around in winter and don't migrate, I gather.

They're definitely a nasty fucking bird. They're pretty enough I guess, but Jesus do they shit. Can fully relate to your story.
