Week 1 Discussion Thread

Welcome to another year of TWL football picks! I encourage anyone with 30 spare seconds per week to join and make picks here... I do all of the hard work!

No major rule changes. Make your picks in a uniform format (reduces the workload on my part), include a total overall score for the Monday night (or last game of the week) game. 1 bye week per player during regular season only. Cannot be carried over. In case of a tie, we go to the score... if winners have the same score or score difference, it goes to the first pick.

1 hour deadline to post/edit picks - from the first game time of each day listed at nfl.com. If I say picks lock at 7PM EST, your 7:10 picks will not make the cut... you can either restrain from posting and take your bye, or miss out on the game picks of that day. The times will clearly be listed in the picks thread.

Seahawks cut TO... traded Jackson... starting Wilson. It's gonna be an interesting season for sure. Flynn has a cushy job now. Paid millions to take the jet from GB to SEA .

LOL, I knew something was strange but like a tard, I posted anyway. Its a good thing tho cuz one guy picked the Dolphins to win on the road versus the Texans who right now are a pretty damn good team.

Yeah, final week of preseason isn't over... but I figure a good jump start on the threads might help get the word out there and maybe garner a little more participation.

They shouldn't have had those extra plays. At least not as many as they did.

They shouldn't have had those extra plays. At least not as many as they did.

Except they didn't get any "extra" play from the timeout... they got extra plays from the defense fucking up with penalties. A quick snap instead of the timeout would've made very little difference.
