Time on a pc

Question, I hardly use my home pc anymore now that I have a smartphone. Now when I do use it the time is always off, today I had to set it and about 6 hours later it was off by almost 2 hours again. Is it the MB battery that keeps that correct? If not what causes it to lose time? Thx, I know someone here knows the answer

I woke up at like 8 am, woke her up and she told me she needed to be honest. She said I fucked both your friends last night. I dont know why I did it. I punched a hole in the wall because I realized how stupid I was. Then I looked outside no sign of any rain.

I thought the CMOS battery only held a charge for the BIOS. Hmmm.

Incorrect time zone. Probably syncing up with a time server and going back after you set it.
Probably set to Pacific as a default.

Yep that is the issue. The CMOS battery keeps the RTC
running also.
