I use Etrade myself, seems to work good, trades are quick, support is fast. Most trades are around 9.99

Pretty easy to navigate and do research with

http://www.tdameritrade.com ....because it was one of the first with a decent site and low transaction costs, good tools too.

I havent checked our small portfolios there in ages...so I dont even know what the site looks like anymore. I was happy.
