XMAS LOOT THREAD:

I got 3 things:

1. I got my kids Xbox Kinect with FIFA12, F1 and Kinect Sports....so...for myself, while I was at it, I got me BF3...will go live in late January.

2. I got me that small sailboat I had mentioned, put the initial payment just today (!) on it and the balance will follow until the end of 2012.

3. We also went skiing last weekend (90 minutes from here) and renewed the rental up in the Pyrenees again for one more year.

I got myself a 30-06 with which to shoot Aria and steal all of his Christmas loot...

...and the wife too.

wait...I have hair, you don't...she will miss THAT.

I had to get a new set of tires for the car...something I did NOT want to have to get until the springtime.

- 1.5TB external drive
- 2 Cardigan sweaters... this time, NOT wool... because my wife shrank it after the first wash last year.

- a new Skagen watch, same as my old Skagen watch (I just like that particular style)
- a $50 gift card to REI

Then tomorrow we do Christmas Day at my mother in law's


The kids got good shit. Big ticket item was the iPhone 4S for the eldest... since he took good care of his regular phone for the past 2 years.

Skylanders is a pretty decent games and the best marketing strategy I have seen in years.

I got a nice coat and scarf from my parents! I bought myself a book (art since 1940) and a cassette adapter for my car. Hooray music!

I dont think Im getting much, My parents are broke so I dont expect much from them. I doubt the Asian girl at the Massage parlor is gonna give me anthing unless I plan on paying first. My one brother is a broke loser. My other brother is dead so i doubt he is gonna get me anything good. And my oldest brother has alot of money but he is such a fucking ego tard who spends more money on his stupid fucking dogs is not gonna get me anything good. I doubt I will even get a card from him so he can go fuck himself.

Once he found out I was gonna get my father a Kindle fire, he decided he was gonna get it for him to show me up. He does not realize the tard saved me 200 bucks. I ended up just getting my father a 25 dollar amazon gift card for his coming Kindle.

About to have breakfast now... weather turned into heavy wind and rain. Weird.

These days, we do a lot of the "What do you want, what could you use?" So pretty much everything is useful, what we could need.

Our family has always had "good" holidays though. We don't bother inviting and faking a day of smiles to estranged members. Just be happy with the ones you care about, share a good meal, etc.

I got the same thing this year as last...another gun.

Got all the women in my life these Persona bracelets with a few beads that have some meaning to me.

Got my Son and my soon to be Daughter in Law the title to my house in Arizona.

Got my youngest Son his own set of tools for working on the 1968 Dodge pick-up truck I bought for us to restore.

A couple more hours we all sit down to a great meal.

Played today with the F1 game, with the wheel controler...interesting...then 3 Kinect games with the kids, and then them among themselves...it was fun/funny.

i cant wait to start BF3..havent yet, and havent gotten online with the Xbox yet.

I saw the thing can connect to Windows Media Center...to other PC...online sites...meh...is this thing trying to mimic AppleTV?

Got to see my granddaughter for an hour today.

Massive Heart attack back in 06. His son my nephew is a smart little fucker. He got a full scholarship to Florida Southern. He is DEAD set on being a Drug dealer.....

It's ok for what is it. But I dont think its really fair to compare it to those two just because the Fire is half as cheap. You cant go in with mindset of this better be as good as the ipad.

I didn't get much, but I really love what I did receive:

1. Band of Brothers on Blu-Ray.
2. A Fender t-shirt.
3. A songwriting rhyming dictionary.
4. A wine aerator that you put right on the bottle opening.
5. A nice Sicilian red wine (from Lauren's step-father to us both).

LOVE IT. Actually just got it back from my dad yesterday after 8 months. Immediately went home and watched. Its a great christmas show.
My mom was looking at RC helicopters for my nephews awhile back. I told her I wanted one while we were talking about it annnddd Dad got one for my 2 brother in laws, himself, and I. LOVE IT. A Gyro S107? Dunno, nothin fancy but it is hella fun.
Other than that clothes, golf balls, and gift certs.

My nephews got me a shirt that says "Special Olympics" with the logo and everything. I thought it was a joke shirt that said something catchy on the back. It didn't. They just want me to wear a special olympics shirt out...

I also got a lot of home made butters, jams, and hot sauces. I collect all kinds of hot sauce.

My GF got me Dexter Season 5, a SodaStream, and some Steelers gear.

Parents gave me cash, a bible, and giftcards. Also Dead Island.

My twin got me some blown glass brandy glasses and pitchers. They're too nice to even use.

Got a lot of golf gear and steelers gear from everybody else as well.

if you go the Android route skip the Galaxy. Get an ASUS Transformer Prime. trust me, it is and it will be the best Android Tablet out for a bit.
