Battle Royale is a fucking badass movie.

I have a friend raving about 13 assassins.

Really? a blair troll project movie? trolls? really? are you fucking kidding me? could be good I guess.

Heh, I enjoyed it, and it doesn't take itself too seriously. I don't usually like found footage movies at all. I guess trolls are really part of Norwegian folklore

Troll Hunter is cool, Tucker and Dale is hilarious, Rare Exports is great, and Battle Royale (own the DVD) is awesome

Tucker and Dale was good. Saw it at a small indy type theater in San Francisco. Saw Hobo With A Shotgun there, too.

Sometimes these offbeat flicks are far more entertaining than the big blockbusters.

I just saw Horrible Bosses last night, never really heard of it before, and it was fucking awesome.

Horrible Bosses was good.

Hobo with a Shotgun sucked ass. I really wanted to like the movie but it was just stupid, not serious, not campy, a bad mix of both and neither. I can't believe I watched to the end. I like Ruger Hauer, he was great in a little known gem called Blood of Heroes.

Hobo with a Shotun suck, but Blood of Heroes is worth finding.


Blood of Heroes is a bleak future world where they play a game that is like football and lacrose and some extra weapons. Use a dog skull as the "ball" and have to take it from one side to the other and stick it on a spike. 5 very specialized players on each team. Really good

Status update. My friend suggested.... "The Troll Hunter" the other night. I was like...really? And we watched it, front to back and I just have to say, it was pretty fucking good actually. A little silly of course, but it was actually pretty well done.

Is that the movie where TotalCarnage plays the troll hunter? The scene where he kicks that Snake trolls ass is epic. I saw it yesterday and I give it two thumb up!

WTF? I agree with Bigguns. Not a very good movie. A handful of decent one lines, but horrible acting(decent by rutger(sp)) for the most part. Horrible effects, not a very good flow overall.

Now I will end up watching Tucker and Dale at some point, but that looks fairly bad actually.

oh and I saw 13 Assassins a while back. It was decent, but I don't think it is all that people are cracking it up to be. In fairness, it was pretty late and I was falling a sleep a little during it, but still. It was good, but nothing that noteworthy.

Battle Royal was a great movie. I watched it one night with some friends and we couldn't stop laughing at how the kids died. Taking up to like 24 bullets in the chest and still spaztic moving.

Good movie!

You know I rented that on a $1 special from Amazon. I forgot about it and ended up watching it on the last day. Turns out I picked it up at exactly 10:38. And at 10:38, 10 minutes from the end, the movie stopped.

I called to ask for an extention. There was a few problems granting it, but I watched the last 10 minutes which was nice of them. But it seems the customer support guy got around the block by giving me the movie. I own it online now.

I mean it was ok, but I'd never normally own it.

Tucker and Dale vs Evil - had great potential but sucked. Very disappointing. I love campy horror flicks like the Evil Dead series, but this just came up short

Horrible Bosses - best part was Jennifer Aniston saying some hot stuff, wearing some hot stuff, and then eating a banana, popsicle, and hotdog. Some okay scenes but the movie was just ho hum. Sad part is it had a great cast but it just never came up with great laughs.

Hoping for the best with Troll Hunter and Battle Royal. Want to see both. Two great movies you might never have heard of:

you're wrong on Horrible Bosses.

Army of Darkness was the bomb diggity when I was a kid. I got the 18" action figure that talks.

Battle Royale is pure genius.

Just watched Blood of Heroes again on Youtube. Just as good as I remembered it. Best single line of the movie "Walk....slowly." If you watch the movie you will get that line and its awesomeness.

All the Evil Dead movies are good.

I heard they are making a new one without Ash.

It's not going to be real enjoyable.

Elite Squad 2: The Enemy Within. Watched it a couple of nights ago on a recommendation. Apparently you don't need to see the first one, which I didn't anyway. Takes place in Rio de Janeiro. Good stuff

Trailer kind of makes look like an action movie but it's not really, it's more about the corruption of the whole system and is dialogue driven. Good story, good acting, and the action that is in it is good.
