3D gaming

Anyone else doing it.

So far my favorites have been
1..Gow3--looks f'ing amazing
2..crysis2-also is superb!! I can't play more than an hour due to sensory overload
3..COD black ops-Look good. Not as good as above two. Plus the reticule is messed up

Hopefully xbox gets the menus to work better in future

Overall I'm loving it. Anyone else blasting away in 3D?

Samsung D8000 60" 240 hz. It's the active technology. Passive on the LG was less expensive but it reduced it to 540p. Active keeps it true 1080p.

I don't agree. The led/LCD looks better, is brighter and is almost the same width as an iPhone. When you could only get 60hz LCD, plasma was better. 120hz and now 240hz have taken that advantage away.

First of all the led/lcds can't handle the processing of the 3D, that's where the 600hz refresh rate on the plasmas smokes them. There is no contest in that department.
You also might be the first person i've ever heard say that led/lcd's are brighter.
Are you kidding me? You need to look at reviews of Panasonics 3D plasmas, they blow everything out of the water.

Edit: Ahh, 120 & 240 are not even close to 600 & it makes a HUGE difference in 3D

You are entitled to your opinion but are not correct from what read. Plasma suck in a bright room are for low the moderate lit rooms. LED/lCD is almost too bright and much better for brightly lit rooms. A few years ago you would be correct. I spent a lot of time researching my tv before I bought it. Plasma was never an option. Edit..the 600hz is not the same as the led or lcd ratings.. Plasma TVs are not really 600Hz it's a trick, call Sub Field Motion.

Its all about preference. I got the newest 3d TV on the market which happens to be LED/LCD. In fact my tv has no edges as well which is simply amazing to see

and besides, as long as 3D technology requires glasses, ill pass (since i wear glasses). also, most people ive spoken to who have seen 3D movies got headaches from it. so yeah, entirely not concerned about 3D gaming/TV/movies.

If you believe that comment about the eye only seeing 60hz. then you will be watching some shitty tvs for the rest of your life. I believe you're thinking of fps. Not the same as refresh rates.

The reason they get those headaches is because they are on shitty lcd 3d tvs or watching them in a movie theater. Like i said, they can't keep up with the 3d content. Watch them on a plasma & you dont ever get those headaches or any of those wierd feelings. As far as the glasses go, well not a concern for me, it's well worth it. & they work perfectly fine over your eye glasses.

LOl. Stones I listed my model and type and size. Why havent you? Every link has my TV as a top one. On top of being better than the one you have its a smart TV, its thinner, it has no edges on it. That means it looks better, feels like you are in the movie or game more and is simply amazing. I dont' recall any vendor saying Panasonic was worth buying. LG, Vizeo, Sony were all better. But at least you have a 3dTV.

& just a fyi, that link also thinks the passive technology is the best. So that kind of shows their knowledge in the tvs.
