Spain belongs to the Euro, if it doesnt have money, it has to cut spending (good) or issue debt....issuing debt cannot exceed stipulated limits (that everyone is raping these days anyways).

Portugal...everyone is in the same boat. Portugal levied a special flat tax before the summer, like 500 euros per taxpayer or family, dont remember, point is...to take more money from the people to pay for government expenses.

So...this brings me to an example...in Spain, the Health Department just announced two days ago they are cutting MD salaries and nurses' salaries....average 1150 euros till Dec 31.

There was massive outcry...so the gvt modified it.... wait...wait....for it....

they are cutting 1150 on average per person, but this will be paid back to them (w/o interest) sometime between 2012 and 2013

can you imagine? "doctor? we need money so we will retain 1150 from your pay check and pay it back to you sometime before 2013 but not before 2012..when exactly I dont know, and no interest?" "F.U. I want my money" "You paycheck is gonna be short, there is nothing u can do about it".

now you know why armed citizens have better governments =/
