Palin Trailing the President by Just 5 Points

After trailing Obama by more than 20 percentage points in polls all year, the new national survey, taken Sept. 13-14, found Palin trailing the president by just 5 points, 49-44 percent. The key reason: She now leads Obama among independents, a sharp turnaround.

Palin is the new Obama I guess.

Meh...they're all worthless scumbags. Whoever gets the Presidency doesn't really even matter to me anymore because they're all just a bunch of worthless crooks.

Until we can overhaul the two-party system, it almost doesn't matter anymore who's in office.

I heard a duder on the tv that was basically comparing this coming election to the bush/kerry election. the polls in the '04 election showed that bush vs. non-bush (a generic dem)=not bush wins. however, kerry was apparently so bad he came in worse than not bush. that's basically how this is: given the choice between barryo and not-barryo, most people go not barryo, but the repub candidates are mostly retarded, so they may be worse than not-barryo. my personal support goes to paul, but romney is the parties best shot, imo. perry, bachman, palin are all pretty much nuts, and that santorum guy is just kind of douchey. huntsman and cain would also be viable options, as they don't seem completely bonkers.

He knows people are too stupid to vote outside of our broken two party system and with the popularity of the Tea Party movement......which has seemingly disowned him as of late......even though he is what Jon Stewart calls "Patient Zero".......he honestly believed that he had a good shot.

Hate to sound like a broken record, but Ross Perot was WINNING with a few months left to go in the race. Ron Paul is a 10x more legitimate candidate than Perot was.
