How to Play
Each round consists of two phases: submission and voting.
Submission Phase
The submission phases commences with the creating of the Submission thread by the referee (Questor, at this time).
Anyone who wishes to participate has 3 full days to create and submit an entry.
If the thread is created after 12pm ET then the 3 day submission countdown begins with the next day.
Multiple entries may be submitted by a contestant but only the last one submitted will be used for the voting phase.
Voting Phase
At the end of the submission phase the referee will create a Voting thread containing the last entry submitted by each participating contestant.
All General Forum posters will have 2 full days to submit their vote for the winner.
If the thread is created after 12pm ET then the 2 day voting countdown begins with the next day.
At the end of the voting phase the votes will be tallied and the winner for the round announced by the referee.
How to Create an Entry
A PNG and PSD (Photoshop) template has been created and will be linked to at the beginning of each Submission thread. It contains all of the General Forum posters who did not decline to have their likeness used; a set of props; and a set of bodies. All of these (collectively known as "parts") may be used to create your 'toon.
Parts may be manipulated in acceptable ways only. They may be moved; resized; skewed; flipped; and rotated. They may be colored. Portions of them may be erased as long as it can be demonstrated that they came from one of the template parts.
Parts do not have to be used in the manner implied by the type of part. For example, the telephone can be turned on its side and used as a race car with smoke bellowing out of its rear.
The only drawing that is acceptable is the addition of text for your 'toon dialog. Optionally, speech balloons may be created to avoid ambiguity regarding who the speaker is.
