UFC 104

I think Machida will win and I hope Cain gets stomped but I'm not sure that's going to happen.

Thoughts?

I think Machida will win, Rua is getting old.

I'm pulling for Rothwell too.

I'm watching the prelims, and will read the PBP, but will be watching the Sounders instead.

I was going to say I was tired of Hardonk in the UFC and that I thought he was going to lose but didn't say anything because the match already started.

those preliminary fights were great!

I want Machida to win personally. (nothing against Rua)

I like Joe Stephenson as well.

I know there are a lot of other good fights... just can't be arsed to go and see who is fighting lol.

shogun got robbed imo... cain looked good.. gatekeeper fight for him next.

I was at a bar last nite that had this on. It looks like 2 crabs rolling around on the mat.

I'm waiting for UFC 106, Brock Lesnar fights again, and Tito comes back to fight Forrest (hope forrest wins).

Overall a very good night of fights, Rothwell needs to learn to stuff the takedown and get in shape more. Cain dominated that fight. I'm tired of hearing how Cain is a contender, He will get destroyed by Nog, Carwin, and Lesnar. I wish they'd give him someone with a decent all around skill set, then we'll see how good he really is. For now, all I'm convinced of is that the UFC is catering to the Latino community and pumping that market; and, it's working beautifully at the moment.

They've been hitting la raca and west europe trying to expand their fanbase. understandable.

*btw, another card im glad i didnt buy. it seems that there are 2 to 3 bad/average PPV cards for every good one.

I understand completely, but if they feed Cain to any top five fighter, he going to get destroyed. I'd love to see a Dos Santos or Gonzaga fight for him next. That necklace he wore after the fight was hilarious.

wtf? why was it so bad? Ko's, decisions, submissions? Early stoppage on Rothwell, but Cain was fucking mauling him. Shogun machida fight was an awesome fight that got fucked in the ass by the judges, but the fight badass. If you didn't like that fight, I suggest watching bumfights and the street fighting volumes. Maybe a little Max-X. it was very technical, with plenty of action. It just wasn't a slugfest.

good night of fights over all, Shogun got robbed and Machida new who won based upon his facial expression and his response to Rogan. A rematch is on the way and hopefully soon, new years would be badass.

Not only could you tell by Machida, but watch both coaching staffs. Shoguns corner was elated, Machidas was very quiet.

I really would like to know where they get these judges. FFS they should be former fighters, trainers...some goddamn body that knows somegoddamn thing about somegoddamn something to do with the art of fighting.

Rua got robbed hard. By the middle of the 4th round it was obvious Machida wasn't going to be able to stop him so I was starting to get excited for a Rua/Anderson Silva fight.

Lesnar is out of his fight on the 21st due to illness. Thats a shame too.

Here's the problem, they use boxing judges and just give them the criteria. The 2 problems with that is #1) most boxing judges don't know MMA that well #2) they hate MMA. the only problem with them being former trainers, like you say, is that you develop relations training and there could be bias.

They need to have 1 group of MMA judges and 1 group of boxing judges. Or just stop allowing the judges to judge MMA if they have a controversial score.

Both are excellent cards. I was hoping Lesnar carwin would be on the 106 and they'd add Shogun vs Mach rematch to the new years card, but a pipe dream.
