Anyone check this film out yet?

I personally didnt like it just my opinion.
It was ok. If that kind of shit gives you the creeps in the first place, you might like it (some people left the theater be they were so freaked out)... if not, then it's still at least mildly entertaining. My only problem with it, is I wasn't completely into the documentary style of it.

I thought it was pretty good. I much prefer the psychological thrillers, not the teen hack-and-slash bloody gore typical Halloween movie, which does nothing for me.

Best freak-me-out type movie I ever saw was Blair Witch. And yes, I knew going into it it wasn't a real documentary. But it got to me anyway. At the time, I lived up in the woods in Colorado, and I didn't want to drive back home afterwards, lol.

We need more of those psychological thrillers. To me, movies like the Saw series is just utter crap.
I live pretty close to where the blair witch stuff was filmed. The woods are SOOOO fucking creepy just by themselves. I would never walk in the woods to begin with. Plus it's kind of out in the boonies.

I can't wait to see this movie. I'm too lazy to see it in theaters so I'm probably going to wait until it comes out on DVD. I love psychological thrillers.

Just felt really bored even though most movies you need time to set up a story.

They kinda made the scenes in the movie too farfetched.

To me it was a couple of 20 yr olds playing house trying to find ghosts.

I recommend many movies over this.. The Descent, The Blair Witch, Exxorcist..... so fourth there are some scary parts but nothing made me jump out my seat like most were doing.

Like I said it's just me others will be scared probably

I live about a few hours from where they filmed Blair Witch

That is why I liked Blair Witch better they were in a fucking tent in the woods these people were secured in their house.

Also this movie beat out Saw!

The budget to make this was only 15,000 talking about making a profit.

OMG movie sucked. 10 people walked out after about 20 minutes of them sitting around talking. Just take what you see in the commercials and those are the only good parts.

This is the type of movie that people will love or hate (i havent seen it)... like Blair witch. If you can put yourself into the mindframe of the characters, and stop waiting for that SAW clown to jump out at you lol, you can get yourself freaked out.

When I saw Blair Witch, some people walked out groaning and laughing... but other people, like a guy I sat next to, squirmed in his chair the whole time and was genuinely scared. I loved Blair Witch, love movies that are original... was creeped out for most of the movie, but that ending gave me chills.

I saw Blair Witch in a sold out theater. Everyone seemed to be into it until the very end, then it was a loud outcry of "WTF???" Most the people in there booed.

This is on the same thread as Blair witch, and for the record the only part of Blair Witch I liked was a the ending cause I thought it took balls to do that ending.

PA was just boring, lots of sitting around doing nothing and talking about crap. Tons of stuff they could have done, but didnt, and most of the "scares" were the same, footsteps up the stairs/hallway , something bangs they wake up and go see....nothing

I agree. Saw is bad and had ruined what people call horror flick.

Paranormal Activity was amazing. The concept, the story and the horror are all there. I love the way it was made, it just adds to the horror.

Anywho, if you HAVE NOT seen it and want to, I may be able to help!

Add me on steam, cinnamon_toast_crunch, or email me if you want to see this movie.

I had the opposite reaction. Thought it was boring and cheesy but thought the ending was pretty creepy.

I take it all the screams they show in the tv ad for PA is a bunch of BS

I actually slept in a tent the night we watched that movie. When it ended I was like "Really, we're gonna go outside and sleep in a fucking tent now?" That was some freaky shit.
Things like the exorcist and people get possessed dont really scare. But the movie signs scared the shit out of me, i swore I heard thing running on my roof for nights. I dont know why but movies or show with aliens invading scare the shit out of me.
