First, even though we've only ever agreed on anything once, I wish a fellow TWLer the best.

Second, I've always beleived that we need people with twisted views holding public office whether they're British or Liberl Democrats because that's the only way to keep an eye on these wackos.

Lastly, maybe it'll keep his annoying mug away from the GF for a while.

By the way, please post the complete results as soon as you know them Miracle-Man. I'm interested to know how you did against your competition.

Came second to a old school mate, national politics dictated my defeat locally. I got a good chunk of votes, and he only won by 8%.

For my first run I did OK, IMO.
