GTA IV: 5 days

Who's all getting GTA IV next week for 360?

Early reviews are saying it's a masterpiece. Granted, I don't put much stock into reviews of such a highly anticipated game, but I have a hard time believing they're full of shit on this one.

I haven't been this pumped up for a console game in a long time

listen to your mother, they are ALWAYS full of shit.

Is the PC version releasing at the same time?

I'm pumped up as well.

But for the PS3 version.

If you are reading that "review" out there, word is, it's faked. The guy in there reviewing is complaining about things that even Rockstar has said in numerous interviews as contradicting it.

For instance, when the guy complains about the cops just showing up, and how you don't hear sirens and shit, Rockstar has said just recently that cops spawn in zones, not on the fly like the reviewer said.

Is this the massive multiplayer one?

It's not massive multiplayer. But it is up to 16 player multiplayer. With a bunch of different game types. The XBL division is going to open a power ladder for this and see how it goes. Might be fun.

In my own opinion, Vice City still takes the cake.

No I just liked the city overall, I thought it was the best city and I liked the story as well.

I wont deny Vice City wasnt great. I just enjoyed GTA 3 story more.

I heard it was just the multiplayer that was looking bad. But hey you never know.

They were saying the game was ugly as sin, and the framerate was horrendous. But this game is still in development, hopefully it turns out well.

It comes out in August so there's still time. Army of Two looked REALLY terrible on it's scheduled release last year so they bumped it to March of 08 and it turned out to be an OK game. Even though the ending was bad.

I was not a fan of army of two,I love the concept, but the control in that game was bad, much like Turok.

i don't think they are releasing a pc one , atleast not yet, but maybe eventually they will...?

GTA IV leaked online yesterday for the 360. Lucky bastards with modded 360's are playing right now. Check out some pretty cool gameplay footage. I really like the physics when the pedestrians get hit with cars.

Yup, I plan on raiding Best Buy in the morning for the PS3 version.

Fluffy how is AOC?

I never played San Andreas so I can't comment on it. However, I liked the city in GTA3, Liberty City, better than Vice City but I thought Vice City was a better game. Either way, GTA gets old quick. It's only good as a rental to me.

Just got the new issue of the official xbox magazine, and they reviewed it and gave it a 9.5. I have yet to read the article but when I do ill post what they said was wrong with it.

San Andreas was cool becuase you could do a lot to customize cars, but other than that, they put too much non important extras in the game.

I liked Vice City just because the story was a lot more interesting, IMO. However, the over all map, even once fully unlocked, was a bit too small. Especially considering you had a retarded load time between the two sides of the city.

I thought san adreas was too big, weakest of the series. Stilla great game but there were too many areas where there just wasnt anything.
