Fur clothing

Yes i have heard about people saying killing animal for fur is bad and wearing it is promoting this violence against animals. Now i see why in the movies when people wear fur coat they get splash with red paint by other people. At first, i thought those people throwing paint at fur coat are retarded, but after watching this video i got to say i will never promote or agree in wearing fur coat again. The people in this video you will see you will seriously want to kill them for harming animals.

This is my favorite one, an interesting view into the food industry. Plenty of skewed facts, however.

Whether you kill an animal for its food or pelt---in the end, a dead animal is a dead animal. They're here for us to eat and if necessary provide warmth via a coat or some other use.
However...that doesn't mean that wholesale cruelty to animals...just for the sake of cruelty is okay. Fur coats are cool if you want to wear them...however, they're cost prohibitive and something synthetic is far cheaper and probably 2-3 times more likely to keep you warm. However, if some asshat threw red paint on me or something like that to make a political point, I'd have no qualms about turning their face into hamburger...and perhaps putting THEM on the grill.

Honestly what a utoptian ideal it is to believe in "no cruelty to animals." I can't watch those videos, because they just piss me off. Its like watching a battered wife get battered over and over again. But what would you have me do? The simple truth is, humanity's universal commonplace, is their cruelty. Its a fact of our world. I can waste my life protesting, or I can simply accept it as a fact of the world we live in, and move on.

well im not saying killing animal for food or clothing is bad, but making it painful and torturing them and skinnning while they are alive and their feet is still kicking is bad. i mean if you want to kill it just kill it, dont make it suffer.

The should at least try to anesthetize the animals before skinning them....

But syringes are expensive... so's the anesthetics... Better to just strike them with a chisel around the C-3 par tof their spine at the base of their heads... that's how drug researchers euthanize the test animals...

Killing animals for food is one thing. I don't hunt deer, because I don't eat deer meat. If I ate deer meat, I'd hunt deer. But this is America in the 21st century. There's no need to kill an animal for it's fur, except to make a fashion statement, which is retarded. I would like to wear a coat made of human skin, but it's not practical, or humane, so I refrain from skinning my neighbors.

Anyone who has an issue with fur should also have an issue with eating meat. There is no difference. I am all for the most humane treatment of any animal, but I will still eat meat. I don't condone wearing a fur coat just for fashion, but I have no issues about wearing my winter fur lined hat or my leather gloves.

fur...ehh fur isnt anything special. Theres nothing wrong with wearing fur or leather, whats wrong with it is the way its harvested....but China is pretty much famous for thier lack of compassion to animals that are used as a commodity. I dont know if they even keep pets for pets.

IMO any animal thats killed should be killed humanely, just no need for the suffering. Cultures should be judged by the way they treat animals

Y'know... freshness is a wierd thing in asia. There are restaurants in Hong Kong where you go the the tanks, and pick out which fish you want them to cook.
They fry the thing up, and serve it to you, but the head is still alive.

Any fish I plan on eating first thing I usually do is cut the head off. I am 99% sure that it is dead by the time I filet it

When I cook lobster... there's two ways I do it.

Cantonese-style... I gotta chop the thing up while it's alive... well, what I really do is just take the dorsal shell, and I tear it off the body... which usually just does the thing in.
Then after that, I chop the thing up into cubes and stir fry it with black bean sauce, chopped pork, and eggs and stuff.

kinda like that, but not as pretty


Otherwise, I boil the things.. big 16quart or 20 quart stock pot filled with boiling water... and I drop them in head first so they don't flail all over the place.
