Or their trainers.
What i think is the worst part about this, is that this is all just from hear say.
There is no proof these people did this, Bud Selig is just a complete moron. He is the laughing stock of the sports world.

If you knew people were using drugs, why not keep it a secret and test these guys to get the proof they need to bust them out of the league?

Interesting point you make! Will these players be able to sue the MLB if they just put up a list and don't have any proof?

I think they must have proof if they are going to make this list. Maybe they are just a dopey as the players.
It's a list of speculation imo, that's all. I'm not saying they didn't take these drugs but unless MLB has 100% proof they did this then this shouldn't be happening. & if they do in fact have 100% proof then why are these people still playing the sport?

Well they have proof Pettite and Clemens took them.
their trainer told Mitchell he injected them with steroids.
If somebody like the government really wants to step in & stop this then they really should be looking at the people at the high school & college levels in these sports. That is where the real problem lies. That is where the pressure really comes from for them to HAVE to succeed. Once they are a pro i think the pressure is somewhat off & the numbers of people taking them is much lower then it is in college sports.

Third party testimony != proof. That would require corroboration.

Unless of course he kept the needles for DNA or something.

Did I miss something, were the Yankees the only team represented as having players who are on that list?

Oh no that's right, every single team has a player or players on there.

So did I and I saw you do it. Now he's guilty.
That's corroborating a story.

All too easy, right?
In all honesty, who cares about baseball any more? Really?
I just saw a story on MLIVE, I don't think that list is correct. According to MLIVE, Pudge is not on the Mitchell list.
Being such a high profile list, I am interested to see a detailed report on how this was done. Does anyone have a link?
Where did you get this list from Pillbug? It's looking bogus.

No Sammy or Mark, that's odd. Other than a couple articles naming a trainer or 2, I'm curious as to how they got the information. And I'd like to see if these are people that tried short term or long term as well.

While, it's doubtful that someone wouldn't lie, from a trainer point, it's possible that for example...Clemens could of been a dick to the Yankees trainer and he just added the name to his list to be a bitch. So keep that in mind for all the players, depending on what evidence is shown on these guys.

This list is entirely different & much more believable then Pillbugs list that i'm guessing he copied & pasted from the rumor list from the other thread.

Shame on you Pillbug. You know you should at least be posting links to prove your info according to TWLs thread making rules.

They are anything but boring. It's like playing Russian roulette throughout the game. Any play could be the one that makes or breaks you. It's frustrating to watch, but not boring.

Andural...While yes, he was the Yankees trainer, he was also the personal trainer for both Clemens and Pettitte. They were paying him for his services.

Um... Try millions of people, including myself. This was one of the most successful years in Baseball in terms of stadium attendance and sales.

Just because you don't give a crap about baseball does not mean everyone else shares the same hate for the game as you do.

I didnt get a chance to reply to this in the other thread before it got locked, but I totally agree. I know you made this comment in a vain attempt to be disrespectful and get on my nerves, but you couldn't have failed more miserably.

The only problem you seem to be ignorant of, is that it is near-impossible to prove these sorts of cases. There are no "murder weapons" so to speak, and most of the witnesses associated with steroids arent exactly 'credible.' So in essence, all they can really do is drag me on the stand, and ask me if I did steroids 5 years ago. All they can really do, is blow it up in the media, harass me, and tarnish my good name with a "scandal."

So honestly, unless you have an mlb player on camera shooting up, all you're doing is making a political ploy to make it "appear" like you care about steroids.

No, Pujols is not being investigated. He wasn't named a single time in the 300+ page document. nt gtfo df

Out of all the guys listed... which guy didn't get ANY help whatsoever by taking performance enhancing drugs?
