That's the unfortunate thing about college.

You can be a major that either:

a) Will be relatively useless in the real world
b) Will be on horrible subjects like 17th century French law
c) Will make you want to kill yourself (Math, Science, engineering, ect.)

Actually, that's the best thing about college.

If you can put the time and effort into researching a topic that you can't stand and create a quality paper, imagine what you will do when you get to work on something you're passionate about.

College is just a series of exercises on shit that you will never use in life (with the exception of about 20% of the ~36 credits for your major). If you can put aside your personal feelings and just do good work, you come out able to handle anything.

Exactly. I need a certain amount of non-major related credits and it just so happens to equal the amount I need to get a minor in History, so today I declared a History minor. What this means is I'll be writing papers on things like 17th Century French law for another two semesters. Will any of it actually apply to the real world? Probably not, but its another thing on a resume.

Right now I just woke up from a 3 hour nap and I won't sleep till about 4 pm tomorrow. The 3 hour nap was to make up for not sleeping last night. Two papers due tomorrow, neither of which are finished, midterm yesterday, and 3 lengthy assignments in the last two days.

Dealing with a stupid driver problem with Dell Optiplex 755 and ZENWorks.

I read a book about Vietnamese cultures along that line, boring shit, they worshiped Buddhist statues to protest colonial rule.
