Hello, I made a political cartoon

In response to Bush vetoes domestic spending bill on health, education and jobs

Why is the pig so happy?

Why are screaming us soldiers inside the pig?

Why is he pointing at me while slicing the pig?

Why is he winking?

Why is he in black and white, the pig in pink, and soldiers in red? I translate it to mean GW is predictable and open, the pig is a communist, and the soldiers are mad at the pig.(note the one yelling in the direction of the pig's head)

The pig represents a barrior that keeps the soldiers back from their full potential. By cutting the pork, the soldiers are enabled to do their job better via a better managed budget. Bush winks while pointing at us as if to say in confidence, "I told you so." The pig is happy because he knows what he has become is evil and welcomes his own demise.



So many questions and thoughts this cartoon provokes. I'd say you did a good job.
