I own a server based in Dallas Texas right now, and started noticing weird ping issues. I sent them around 8 tracerts from around the country/world. But, we had a lot of timeouts before we even got to their servers. The ip below is owned by att.net. It seems that peoples pings either time out at this ip or just after it:
12.123.***.***
Its located in the chicago area.
My question is; how can I get this fixed? Who do I contact? Like I Said, I sent my server company the information, but they said its not their issue b/c its not their router. So how can I get results?
Any help, suggestions on contacting them, anything!
