I think that was a great move by them, it shows they have enough balls to admit when they were doing something wrong and not trying to cover it up *cough*iraq*cough. By the way, Korea was one of the countries that George Bush listed on the "axis of evil". What do you guys think?

And no cimat, were not going to go blow them up to steal their rice

Don't you mean North Korea is an axis of evil? We occupy South Korea with thousands of members from the armed forces in every branch of the military. With dozens of Army/Marine camps, a half dozen Naval ports, and two Air Bases.

I spent a year in country next to the ROK Air Force and at one point when the runways were being re-done at Osan AB, we trained with them at Suwon Air Base.
nautica, ppl already knew they had nukes.
I think Nautica might be refering to this story.

North Korea has admitted to having a secret nuclear weapons program, in violation of a treaty.

North Korea, Pakistan, India, all of these pathetically poor countries are wasting their money on nukes while their population starves.

Idiots!

Memo to all North Koreans, Pakistani's, and Indians- eat your leaders.

Well what's more is they back their reasoning for breaking the original 'agreement' because we have 37,000+ troops there making sure they do not try to invade the democracy underneath them. Which, imo, is flat out just begging for a serious kick in the ass.

So we got Afghanistan, Iraq, North Korea... I wonder who's next. This is a time when Patton would be absolutely beside himself just waiting to unleash a major can of whoopass. I wonder who his equivalent will be in our military leadership... if there could ever be such an equivalent.

Knights of Invictus
US says N. Korea HAS two nukes

It is the soldier, not the campus organizer, who gives us the freedom to demonstrate. It is the soldier who salutes the flag, who serves beneath the flag, and whose coffin is draped by the flag, who allows the protester to burn the flag." – Father Dennis Edward O'Brien, Sergeant, USMC

If William Lyon MacKenzie was around Canada's military wouldnt be so fucking pathetic and we could trample these little shitty countries.
It's funny that the only reason they admitted it was because the U.S. confronted them with the satellite pictures.

Where did you hear that?
Actually if you want to get really really really technical. About all of it. The United States is still @ war with Korea. All that was signed was a Cease Fire agreement. Nothing else. (Which in all technicality does not remove a state of war.)

Am I wrong, or did we actually never go to 'war'? I thought it was just a 'police action', no declaration of war.

If I'm right, then to get real technical, we never were at war. If I'm wrong, then, once again, I'm speaking out of my ass.
