I was in this soul food carry-out place on North Avenue in Baltimore one night, waiting on my Sammy Davis JR. Jambalaya and Farrakhan and his bodyguards came in. I was the only white person there, hell the only white guy on North Avenue and those bodyguards gave me some real hard stares. Very scary people. I wouldn't mess with them. True story.

On TW people use the N word like its the wittiest thing you can say. Being faceless brings out the h8. It got so bad they now have a filter that changes the word to 'nerd'. they have a filter? lol... I'm gonna have to go there and use the word a few times just to try it out...

anyways, after reading the post TKK put up, it really got me pissed... we have been trying to say that "it's just the hard-core people that are like that" and then someone like this comes along, and makes us really wonder...

Yeah, after seeing whole threads devoted to black slurs on TW I sometimes wonder if these radical black group might have a point I linked a few black people I know to TW (gigafool threads where N* or F*ggit was pretty much in every post) talking about fried chicken, black jokes, demeaning them, etc...and they werent shocked, they get it alot on the internet where people dont have to worry about being held to what they say...Some of the things I have read there are just h8 straight up.

yea but last time I checked, they weren't walking around the globe holding meetings with the likes of Saddam Hussein. Yes, they're just as bad... but Farrakhan.. and now these "New Black Panther" groups... who wield high powered rifles in broad daylight.. they all need to be put on the dept's Terrorist list along side Hamas and the other radical groups.

Imo, it's a true shame the old ways of the west no longer apply in our modern society. I'd have me quite a frag rate by now.

I sifted through their discussions for an hour or so. I don't see any reason for alarm. People hate for many reasons. Many times the real reason is not known even by the person who harbors the hate. Most people fear the unknown, take things out of context, and misinterpret meanings.

Unless you have an extensive knowledge of the NOI, which mine is far from extensive, many of those discussions are far beyond your scope. They have just as little of an understanding for our society as we have of theirs. Look at all the ignorant things people have said in this forum about islamic religion and muslims.

My grandmother always used to tell me you can't look in two directions at the same time and see everything. Meaning you might be able to see something from two perspectives and capture a good portion of each, but you won't fully understand both of them.

There wasn't anything about Farrakhan there, in fact the only thing I DID see about Farrakhan was a moderator proclaiming that he did not belong in that forum. There were only a few threads in there that had anything to do with 9-11 or America. Look at these forums, or look at an American Political Forum and tell me how many Anti-Arab/Muslim/Iraq threads you see.

yeah, i came to the same conclusion, i posted out of ignorance thinking Farrakhahn = NOI, which isnt the case at all. Religious leaders & Civil Rights activists should be outraged that such groups still exist in this country. They set back what others worked so hard to achieve and/or still fighting for.

Fighting a good fight with hate & weapons your ordinary civilian ought not have is wrong, and should not be ignored.

After what we all have seen happen over the past weeks... anyone who thinks that it's ok for the Nation of Islam to be in this country needs a serious wake up call to what is really brewing here.

I mean the guy (Farrakhan) has praised Hussein and calls the US the bad guys... why can't we just buy them a boat and send them adrift in that direction??? Or better yet...as I've mentioned before... attach them to daisy cutters that we should surely drop on Iraq when the time comes.
