Molba a marine was a CS player here in Hawaii. His squad was ambushed in Iraq and he died. He started to post in the hawaiigamer.com forums (a local gaming site that does reviews on games etc..) about his experience there. I remember this post which brought tears to my eyes as I read it again after finding out the news.

"btw i just came back from the mission. trying to get on line as much as i can since i dont know when it's gonna be my last time on line. anyhow we got us a bad guy who makes explosives and found bunch of ak47 and wires and paper works. first succesful mission so far. had to drive big ass tank in to the town. lol.
anyhow, yea over here we can't get away from politics... everything we do got something to do with politics. gotta play mr. nice guy when we are getting shot at. get about 2 - 4 hrs of sleep. i'm so tired, but now i gotta go back out there in about hr. anyhow i'll keep on posting stuff here.
thanx for ur support." -hawaiigamer.com forum by Molba

Bummer, my best wishes to his family and friends.
In case anyone was interested, i did a quick cut and paste from their forums:

Rest in Peace, Nikky Kim.

HawaiiGamer offers Our Deepest Condolences
Hawaii lost one of its own on the battlefields of Iraq. Nikky Kim (molba) was taken during a firefight while performing a mission or patrol with Marines. He is survived by his wife and newborn son whom was born after Nikky left Hawaii. The following was posted by e.damani in this LiqshoT Forum thread.
Nikky Kim serves the marines. His team was ambushed on oct. 5th at night. From what ive been told. he was shot and was able to live for another hour. It will take 7-12 days for Nikkys body to come to Hawaii and another 2 weeks for funeral arrangements. sometime next month is very expected.
Rumor is that Nikky has been recommended for 4 medals... including the Congressional Medal of Honor. (Unconfirmed)
Nothing I can possibly say could even begin to ease the pain and loss his family must be experiencing therefore I won't pretend. Nikky recetnly posted news of his exploits in Iraq in this HawaiiGamer thread. It can be rest assured that Nikky died performing his duty and for that he will always be remembered as a hero.

HawaiiGamer will soon provide a PayPal link for those that would like to donate funds toward a Savings Bond for Nikky's young son. Please check this site tomorrow if you'd like to make a donation.

Thanks Thrill...

This touches home for me because when this war first started a young soldier whose family lives on my old mail route was one of the first to die there. You may remember early on 4 soldiers were killed by a car bomb at a security check point. His name was Sgt Eugene Williams a 3rdID soldier.

After his death I stopped off at the house and dropped off a monetary gift for Eugene's wife...His daughter Maya stood out in the street and watched as I drove away. I wanted so badly to hug that little girl who just lost her father so I may sleep a little easier at night. I stopped broke down and cried my ass off looking back at her...His wife Brandy went on to have another girl 4 months later without Eugene by her side...She gave me a thank you card which my wife and I will hang at the top of our xmas tree every year to remind us of whats important in life.

Nikky's death and leaving a heart broken family is equally sad.

goodnight godbless

my condolenses to the family
to the family, friends, and soldiers still out there.
This is like the third of fourth thread I have seen about a competative gamer dieing in Iraq, kind of brings home what our Country's soldiers (US, UK and Iraq) have to go through everyday.

Words cannot express how angry this makes me feel, up until people who are in the same relative community started dieing it seemed very surreal but now I just think why?.

I never knew any of the guys who have died for their Country's but an instant amount of respect should be paid to anyone who signs their life away on that dotted line.

Deepest condolences.
