I will get my psx2 online tomorrow and if Tekken is on there I will set up a paypal account and give any of you the whooping of a lifetime for some cash. That is all.
how about twisted metal black online?

i still havent found anyone to be better than me
banshee i highly doubt you could hang with me. you will have to wait for tekken to go online. i think tekken games are the greatest fighting games ever aside from the marvel vs capcom series. for you to say you would pay to get your ass handed to you is quite amusing to me though none the less. anyways i look for the day where i will indeed hand your ass on any and all fighting games. nice thought though cya

Anytime. Minimum rounds = 20...at least $5 a round and more if you want.
Tournament winning is a thing of the past and doesn't pay off as well as gambling against people who think they are supreme because they know a few 10 hit combos and reversals. I may just beat you without using kicks and punches...just block, throw, reversal, and maybe even a chicken reversal if you know how to chicken, since you are so good. I'll be at UVA5 and will give the same oppurtunity to everyone there again over the loud speaker this year. I only play Tekken and football so I'll give that oppurtunity as well on Madden and NCAA 03's. Come get some. Oh, and if you even consider marvel fighting games close you are in big trouble already. Maybe you and Akuma can play the kid's games for cookies.

And hi bis bis...you know you wanna gamble with me on it.

omg u did NOT just bash the best fighting game out there, did you?

street fighter made fighting games
The original Street Fighter was definately good in it's time and was what got me addicted to fighting games...But comparing it with tekken is like saying you would rather drive a pinto than a jag.

reality?

you like real games over fantasy ones?

i play games to get away from the "real" bullshit
Sorry...fantasy was what I was into 10 years ago around 13-14 yrs old. No offense of course. The only unrealistic game I've really played in years is Tribes and Tribes 2...however they are so graphically inclined and kind of a future based reality that I don't consider them fantasy...but I'm over them now too.
Back to topic...who wants some?

I still consider Tekken 3 my favorite of the Tekken series and at one point was practicing it around 3-5 hours a day for about 8 months (giving a day or 2 out of the week when I went out). I still have a few psx1's and T3. I think you would never get away from King and would get smashed by Paul or Law.
Good thing there aren't too many trees in tekken.

realism is ok, but i think its absolutely histerical how people would only play realistic games

like people that limit themselves to sports games, i have no respect for people like that hahahha

I find it 'histerical' that people would even consider giving respect to people over video games. Nice fantasy world you live in.

wouldnt u respect some1 that absolutely owned you in a game? maybe you played t2 for years and years and some guy comes along and kicks your ass fair and square?

its no different from any other sport in that there is practice and actual games with teams and sometimes prizes, dont tell me i live in a fantasy world, "banshee"

I give respect to people who deserve it in the real world, not for playing a video game. Sorry Mr. Fantasy, it doesn't work like that. It's a game, not life.
games can be a hobby, look at you, your a TWL vet, how can you not say that games arent a part of your life?

hypocrite.....
When did I not say games were not part of my life? And when did I say games were not a hobby? Quit putting words in my mouth, liberal. Funny thing is watching football is part of my life...so I guess that deserves respect too then.

Get off of it moron and get a life...giving respect to someone over video games, or anything like it, is just plain pathetic. Maybe get out of the house and take a look at the real world and give/recieve some respect there where it means something. Not over the interweb where you think someone is good at a game. Pathetic. You must be limpdisk's brother or something...another idiot wanting respect for online gaming!!!!
if you dont respect people better at you in games, then you dont repect people better than you at anything else, why should it be taken differently?
btw i dont care if u have respect or not, i dont even know why im talking to you, either
Talking to you has effectively made me see the interweb gaming respect on a whole new level. I will now respect everyone who plays 'games' that is better than me because of those ruthless hours they have put in. Knowing what they are doing compares to saving lives, taking care of the elderly, going through school, supporting families, and other real life situations has opened my eyes. Can we please get back on with Tekken discussions now? Thanks.
here ya go

stuf it moron or I'll have Tysoft rape you
I still own you all at Tekken. But since noone will play me around here anymore and there are no more tournies near me I am retiring my hand at Tekken until the next one. I've beaten the comp on every level straight through with every player hundreds of times and it's way too boring now. Even when I do play people here that claim to be good whether at arcades or friends I'd rather be playing the comp on the low level. People are too predictable in this game. The only other game I will be playing is football games on psx when the 2004 barrage is released since that is all the formal big money tournies play on(I prefer football on the xbox).

Whoa. Looks like I missed the whole SF vs Tekken discussion. Oh well. I kinda suck at Tekken, but that's because I've never been a big fan. A bit too slow for my taste. My fav 3d fighters are Dead or Alive 2 and (haven't played 3) and Soul Calibur(the king of 3d fighters). And I'm not really sure why you guys were getting into such a heated argument over Tekken vs Street Fighter. Besides the fact they are one on one, that is all they really have in common. They have TOTALLY diffrenty play styles. In my personal favorite fighting games are the SF series (I pray 3 times a day for SF Alpha 3 to go online), but that doesn't keep me from playing all the other great games. Now then (*gets off soap box*). Who's ready to get a new ass ripped for them in some good ol fashion Street Fighter?
