Metal Gear Online Ladder

This game is one of the most popular ps2 titles out there right now...who would be interested in getting some competition going!?

With the wide range of server options and the excellent net-coding this game could foster some really good competition!

I'll rent it soon and check it out. What style is it online? CTF, CONQUEST, or is it like SOCOM?

I fully support space's idea as well as the game/ladder.

I just bought it today. It has deathmatch mode and a couple of others (no ctf) that im aware of. The deathmatch looks really fun. I think we can do up to 7v7. We can start out with a 3v3 or 4v4 deathmatch ladder if we get enough support.

Sadly the game is capped out at 4v4, but it is still very solid with a large base of players...this could deffinatly rock, I know JOT$ could contribute a team!

I bought the game not long ago. Still haven't had a chance to play it online...a 4v4 ladder sounds nice. Well if I can get enough support/teams for it then I can go ahead and put it up for you guys. I'll even play for a team to support the ladder.

Hi!

I play alot of games competitively, (CS,Starcraft,etc.)

Right now I'm playing ALOT of Metal Gear Online, and I have to say its really fun for Competition


There are 3 main modes for Team vs Team (up to 4v4)

Team Deathmatch
CTF (its called Capture The Frog, or CAP online)
Rescue (Like CS where you rescue hostages, you rescue a Gako doll)


There are ALOT of people playing this game who would LOVE to see more Leagues that are Professional and Organized.

Right now the only League I know of is Gamebattles.com (which there are a decent number of teams) for MGO, and a offical Konami Tourney thats coming up soon.

If you guys set something up, I'd more than be happy to advertise the league so more people join.

Yeah, we got some CSM guys that are interested. I know 3 already play. I'll keep checking back.

too bad this game never took off, it is still pretty damn popular online.
