SOCOM 2 > SOCOM 1

i have heard anything from this site but i have been getting a lot of flack from http://www.gamebattles.com. A lot of people say that socom 1 is better than 2. Um...no. They say the "gameplay" is different. I think it is just the amount of bullets it takes to kill/be killed that i like better in s1. Other than that the gameplay is the same....

How could you ignore the many good things of socom 2? The friends list, the clan list, the new modes, new weapons, new maps, a whole lot of things improve socom, i dont see how these people see s1 is better...or at least how much they say the two games are "different".

yes i agree, socom2 has great qualities and its a very active game.A lot of ppl play it including myself. So i think u should make a socom2 ladder.

I feel socom 1 is a lot better, besides the cheaters the guns were better. I loved the gameplay. Now there are so many cheats for socom 2 its not worth it to play very much.

I have only Socom1 , and there are alot of cheats on Socom1 , I was playing the other day and guy kept shooting me and killed me through the building , right through a wall.. My husband, Bud Ice has played alot... and he has seen alot of cheats... in Socom1. We were gonna try Socom2 , but are afraid to purchase it because whats the sense in playing when everyone seems to cheat????

Honestly I think the amount of stupid glitches is increasing and coult cuase stress for these hard working admins of TWL to keep it fair. I hate it when people ruin the game just becuase they are playing ps2 and smoking pot at the same time.

i dont see any cheating in SOCOM 2 just some occasional glitchers that get annoying.

no biggie tho cuz most glitchers i see get kicked

i dunno if having a TWL ladder will work so well if the people on the ladders glitch =\

i played socom 1..it was great..alot of cheaters...but always played in priv servers with no cheaters...i got socom 2....then i had enough...people say the lag comes from the servers...NO...the games maps have such horrible fps and were made so poorly..i stopped playing it...to you playstation 2 people...fps = frames per scond...the graphics on socom 2 are so detailed that the ps2 cant handle it with its out of date system..say a 8v8...its so slow...thats why you kill a persoon 2 seconds after he kills you...the fps lag...and the socom community is so unorganized its absurd...if the makers of socom let people make competitive mods for socom2..by mods i mean....addons...to make it less laggy etc...record demos in game with the hardrive....so you wont have to bring your camera recorder out to dispute a match..because you thought the people were cheating.....i believe the makers of socom didnt put hardly much thought into the graphics to make it less laggy...just put all these addons to sell more copies..they saw this game coming to be just another unorganized ps2 online kid fest...then quit on it....

good luck to socom people...im playing a pc game...were its not laggy...and more organized clanning etc....dont feel like wasting my time with a controller waiting my turn to talk on the mic and dieing by bad fps...all day
