Hello all, I am Krusader. It took me a while to get the Ps2 online, but now I got it on Tribes and have a few questions. I would like to join a team whenever I get started, I had been playing single-player five days straight non stop before I went online so I dont look like a complete nooby, hehe. Ive found you got to lag shoot, well, if you have dial-up like me. But that didnt seem to stop me. One of my major questions is, who would be willing to teach me? I pick games like this up really fast, coming from the PC world but I had been playing Ps2 offline. I would only be playing this game online, so I would be active and dedicated to whatever team that takes me. Learn the stuff, and im on a role. Ive played PS since PS1. Tribes seems right up my alley, and I love its teamwork involved, but I am yet to figure out how to communicate with other players rather then the things they make you say whenever you perform an action. I played Mechwarrior 4 on TWL, for about five years, but its time for something new. Ive led units there, so that means I have a sense of tactics and leadership. I liked quake, but I didnt like it because it was missing a sci-fi touch. So I thought this would be the right thing for me, sci-fi armored action with blazing teamed guns. Sounds like one of my sci-fi novels. With communication, is it famed that people use BattleCom, Teamspeak, Ventrilo, Roger Wilco, or any other Communications programm with an IP given from the league? I figured since the lack of communication and how easily people were able to organize teams without saying nothing to each other, that there must be some sort of communications server that people create chanells on and talk on, provided by the league. Or they just talk to each other on the forums and set up battledates, and the coordination is rather mentally and just to cover each other and hear the warnings from the computerized voices of the other players. I would appreciate any help, just those two questions, how do you communicate on Tribes: AA, and what team would be willing to take me in, because I can say I am pretty damn bright and will pick it up fast, hehe.
Thanks,
Krusader
