Well you need to have more people then yourself on the team. Second you need to install the uac, its stickied. Since your clan leader you can challenege people but since you don't have 4 signed up you can't do anything.
To signup for any BF3 league or ladder all members of a given team must signup for TWL. They will receive an email to activate their account, most likely it will end up in their spam/junk mail folder. They most click the activation link in that email. It is recommended that all players add the TWL email to their contacts or flag it not spam.
They must also go to UAC.AC and Click "DOWNLOAD" to download the required anti-cheat software that must be run for all matches. Once downloaded install the software and when it is first run it will prompt them to register with the UAC site. This is required to obtain their UACID. Players will receive another email, this time from UAC which will most likely also end up in their spam/junk mail folder. They must click the link inside to activate their UAC account. Once that is complete they can run the UAC. They click the top button "PLAY" a load screen asking for Donation will be displayed for 14 Seconds. Then on the bottom left will be the "OK" button...CLICK THAT. Now players are looking at the main screen for matches. They do NOT need to worry about match ID for this part (I will add in what they must do here, before each match, at the bottom of this) on the bottom of the UAC window will something like this "Connected as: PlayersNameHere| ID: 123456" Of course it will be their name and their UACID number. They must take that ID number and add it to their TWL profile.
To do this they should start on the home page. The top left tab will be the players name. Mouse over it, then down to "Account Maintenance", and finally over to "Profile" Click this. On the bottom of this new screen click the link in the middle titled "Add another id". On this screen is a dropdownbox scroll down to "UACID" and select that. Now in the textbox under it add the 6 digit UACID that was at the bottom of UAC software window. Click "Add Identifier" and that is done.
Players will also need the last 8 digits of their GUID. To get this there are a few ways. The easiest way is going onto a server they have access to with Software like Procon. Log on to the server, open up procon (or have someone is on Procon) click their name. On the bottom it will give PB Guid . This is a hexadecimal number and its all they should be looking at. Take the last 8 and go back to your TWL Profile. "Add another id" this time from the dropdown select Battlefield 3 PB GUID, enter the 8 hexadecimal digits in the textbox and click "Add Identifier".
***If a players team does not have a server they can log on to one of the TWL servers and type "@myguid" into the chat. Their GUID will then be shown in the chat box but to them only.***
Now your team is ready to engage is competitive matches that are both fun and challenging. Team founder is any player that sets up the team. They will set the join password. Now to add members to your team's roster you select the League or Ladder you wish to compete in. Once players have setup TWL, UAC, and added both the UACID and BF3 GUID to their accounts they can click "Join" type the password the founder created and that's it. First time setup is a process that takes a little time, but all matches there after are fast and easy to setup.
***About the UAC main match screen I mentioned above. The match ID you enter in that textbox will come from one of two places. On Ladders once you have challenged or been challenged you can visit the rant board. In the URL or web address bar there will be a 6 digit number. This is the match ID and all players of the match must use it. I am not on leagues but I believe admins post the match IDs in match comms.***
***Match comms is like posting on a forum but you can NOT edit or delete once you have posted. It is only view able by the two teams and TWL admins. You won't see an option for this until you have challenged or been challenged. This is where you post Server info, password, match id if you want to make sure everyone is on the same page. Also this where you must post any requests for Time, Date, Map, or Rule change. If its not posted on match comms or if the opposing team hasn't posted acceptance then it isn't valid. Meaning if you post in comms to change the date or time and they write ok on battlelog. They could report you as a no show and win by forfeit. If you want to change the map or not allow a certain gun. If the other team won't agree to the request then your team will have to play it out as is, or forfeit the match. Mostly you will not run into these issues as most teams here are filled with players who just want to play but it does happen from time to time. Post edited by ZientMazza at 11/28/2012 5:11:11 PM
I'll post a few of the things here that will get you in trouble. Consider this a friendly warning.
Ignoring staff warnings or testing patience / boundaries.
Posting information not pertinent to the thread with the sole purpose of derailing the discussion (trolling).
Flaming will not be tolerated here. If you want to have a "heated" discussion with your opponents, that's what rantboards are available for, not the General forum.
Troublemaking. Starting problems for the sake of stirring up waves will get you removed.
New players are highly valued here, they need to be able to come in and ask questions without the trolling. We have the General Forum if you feel the need to post random replies in sarcasm. Post edited by Blues78 at 1/13/2013 3:56:51 PM
