2v2 Chopper ladder needs to pick up

Been waiting for a team to challenge us on the chopper ladder, but besides that where did everyone go? Was active when I signed up but slow now and seems like a lot less teams.

Game isn't really that active in competition anymorez.

Our 2v2 team left. For a couple reasons, real life first, but also the chopper matches werent that fun after a while. They always just turned into a slug match on who could cycle their countermeasures better. Although we did leave before they took away gunners flares, i dont think we will be coming back just due to the staleness of 2 choppers going head to head

I've thought about hopping into this ladder. Sucks to hear it's getting pretty stale.

Mrsandman, I hear you about the whole "countermeasure & lock-on dance" - not exciting at all.

You think people would be willing to not use heatseekers and only allow skill based weapons? (dumb fire, cannon, TV)

i wouldnt have a problem with it if the maneuvering capabilities of the choppers where a little better. Slow on the climb, slow on the move. There is little to no piloting skill involved and by default it turns into 2 hovering choppers shooting at each other. these turn based matches kind of get irritating also. Although it does remove the chance for base raping it also makes the whole process slow and arduous

8v8 needs to pick up, and 6v6, and 5v5, and 10v10, and 12v12...

I prefer to use TV missiles and then your counting on your pilot giving you a good shot and at the same dodging the enemy. If you get to close then time to gun and let the pilot worry about heat seekers. I would rather be playing and 4v4, 5v5, etc but I dont have a team for that and I still have fun when I get to play 2v2 choppers.
