Armor Ladder Players

We've had 3 questions brought up so I need a quick input from as many of you as possible. Just a quick answer to each question is all that is needed.

Q1 - Ban the Guided Missile

Q2 - Ban all IFVs

Q3 - Remove Tehran Highway from rotation

Q1 - Ban the Guided Missile - NO (It's is skill based, learn how to use it in the right times and use it for spotting)

Q2 - Ban all IFVs - NO (IFV goes into the category of armor aswell, if you cant master both tank and IFV, you cant call yourself a true tanker, even if the IFV are better than the tank no need to ban it)

Q3 - Remove Tehran Highway from rotation - NO (So what if its dark, it makes it more challenging, makes you give up smoke for thermal if you want to, in real life there will be situations where you can encounter enemies in the dark)

what about maps the only 1 side get ifv seems a bit fucked up like my match tonight on sharqi

Is an IFV really that much more powerful than an MBT? Apparently you can't beat an IFV with a tank so it has been brought up to remove Sharqi from the ladder.

Yes or no, please.

i love the map but ifv should not be aloud in that map because its way unbalanced

an IFV with APDS and reactive can pretty much win against a tank about 90% since it can maintain an almost constant non stop fire rate on the tank blinding the tank while the tank will blindly blow off panels and the IFV rounds don't get stopped by reactive panels. Any tank that has an IFV behind it is beyond fucked. You have to be very good at the tank and the other guy has to be piss poor period in order to win.

I wouldn't remove the map, i say Sharqi RU cannot use IFV cause even if the US wanted to use one they can't. When Sharqi shows up it's tank on tank no questions asked. Tehran, keep it, thing is here, the two players should agree upon in comms which they are going to use here, either IFV vs. IFV or Tank vs. Tank. If they can't agree on that request a map change then. If Tehran shows up as the map being played and you don't like that map you are allowed in comms to agree to another map.

I agree the IFV will win 9 out 10 times and should not be used on Sharqi since US does not have one.

If you agree in match comms to something, it becomes a rule for the match and enforceable as long as both teams agree to it. If they don't, the rules for the ladder stand. Any dispute will need screenshots or server logs to validate.

I will add the rule that the IFV is not allowed on Sharqi. You will have to have screenshots or server logs to validate an infraction.

This will be effective at 12:01AM 9/10/2012.
