I played my match with KillaKlan the other day using UAC3 with no problems. Internet wiring is fixed and UAC3 runs smooth. I get into my server (same server) today for my match and lag starts hitting me hard. I don't know who or what to blame but this is quite odd and suspicious.
I have seen issues with lag across all BF3 servers recently over the last few weeks. Hopefully we can diagnose the problem.
Also, you all should contact the UAC Staff through their forums with any issues. It is their program and they would be able to make changes and offer advice on fixing things client side and with their software.

You have multiple users on TWL that don't have top of the line rigs. Add in this game plus UAC3 and you've got yourself the root cause.
UAC is not a giant company's software solution... It's a couple of guys trying to make a decent AC program. They do not utilize User Acceptance Testing on tons of different PC configurations and it's no surprise that the result is people getting lag.
You don't have to be a computer guru to understand this stuff but it helps. UAC is already known to cause lag in nice computers. It will certainly cause lag in mediocre to lower end computers and TWL's policy is to direct you to the UAC team for troubleshooting.
The problem is that these guys at UAC don't solve many of these problems so you're stuck using a program that TWL "has no alternative but to use" with no solutions to your problem.
So the short answer is that you're SOL.
edit: Unless, of course, you figure out some kind of alternative to messing with UAC and figure out some kind of balance between your rig, your internet, the program, and the game that alleviates some of your lag.
That's where the Computer Guru experience comes in handy. Post edited by JackBurton[x] at 8/21/2012 4:44:43 PM
TWL should not use UAC3 until their "lag spike" problem is solved since other than that it is not so bad. Punkbuster is a "anti-cheat", if I were TWL admins I would let competition go on with just "punkbuster enabled" in all match servers. You can always add a third party "anti-cheat" program to make cheating easier to catch providing it does not ruin competition such as "lag spikes".
Originally posted by: Juggalo Competition has almost always used an extra anti cheat measure on top of PB. Get used to it, I don't see them getting rid of it because you lag.
I'm not the only player complaining about lag spikes stupid. If you did not just decide 1 day to show your face to say something stupid you would know there is a problem with lag spikes that cause teams to drop out of BF3 competition.
Once again, we understand some folks have issues with UAC and as Jack stated. Questions need to be directed to UAC support.
Also, we have had many matches and have not experienced the amount of lag speak that you seem to get often. Not sure what seems to be impacting your PC more then most. But it could be a few different issues.
