Anti-Cheat

Anything in the works of a new anti-cheat or UAC4 coming soon to TWL?

UAC4 is the program we will be using when it is released. In the discussions we have been a part of with the UAC Developer, it will be released when its done.

We will let teams know of any more information as it is released.

I need to get back on that armor ladder ASAP! I need a better anti-cheat before I rejoin the armor ladder.

are they going to fix the major lag spike when it scans, ive had it ruin defuses/disarms countless times

So that is what it was that killed me last match, "Lag Spike". UAC3 wasn't too bad in some matches but my last match was so much lag it wasn't funny and now I know it was a lag spike. Cannot have those during matches especially for rung 1.

Your system, as we have pointed out so many times before is just marginal for this game.
I recommend IOBIT Game Booster which should give you a 40%+ boost by stopping some of the other processes you don't need to play the game and run UAC.

Your system should handle UAC with no issues.
However, if you believe lag is an issue caused by UAC then I suggest you enable the Remove Freeze Lag option.

Go to the PLAY pane.
Click on OPTIONS (tool logo) in the upper right.
Slide your cursor down to Service and click on "Remove Freeze Lag"

Was running XP but I bought Windows 7 a while back. Running EVGA Geforce 550ti GTX 1MB with Windows 7, been playing BF3 with current rank Colonel.

I had Remove Freeze Lag enabled when I got the lag spike on my last match. I will look on UAC forums for any fixes. I did not think of that.

There's your problem right there. You're missing 999MB's of RAM on your G-Card.

UAC3 does not say anything in their forums about any fix. I did find somebody saying to use "Force Scan" because the scan goes by faster and less time lagging. I want to give that a try and rejoin the ladder but when I click on tools in UAC3 it shows the "Force Lag" option but does not give me access to the "Force Lag" option to use it. Can somebody help me?

Laser, we are aware of your thoughts on UAC. We are working on it.

In the meantime, my guys have been playing ladders and leagues and not having any problems with UAC. Keep on playing guys.
