after reading the ruleset im not sure of 1 thing... are vehicles allowed for anything or just transport?

It would be an "infantry only" or "fast attack ladder" if vehicles were not allowed.

It would seem that the 8v8 Hardcore ladder is the exact mirror of the Vanilla 8v8 only with the hardcore server settings.

seems pointless to use vehicles with only 8 ppl per side.

no i dont own cod at all.....let me guess you have every version of world of tanks? i come in here to get a question answered.....it got answered and then i made a statement of my opinion... if that offends you 3... then take a couple midol and get over yourselves. if 8 ppl rolling tanks from spawn to spawn makes you happy? by all means use what you need.

I think the game dictates the level of mixed arms based on the map.

For example. If you draw Siene Crossing as a map it will be a heavy infantry game as aposed to Caspian boarder featuring mixed arms.

This is what battlefield is about and even with only 8 players adding vehicles is fun as hell!

Now There are some maps that feature to many vehicles for 8v8, for example Karg Island and possibly Firestorm. I would expect these will be replaced by a few good Back to Karkland 8v8 maps.
