Streaming your BF3 Server to PBBans

Instructions on how to do so are here:
http://www.pbbans.com/forums/bf3-streaming-support-now-available-t147796.html

This is mandatory for all teams!!
We got both of our servers up and running
I was asked on IRC, so I'll mention it here too. Be sure to set:
pb_sv_AutoSs 1

in your server's PB config. The default is 0, so it needs to be set to 1 if you want your server to automatically take screenshots. This is especially true if you are streaming to PBBans or other services.

Keep in mind we cannot ban for any SS unless it came from a streaming server.
personally I am finding the requirements listed by pbbans to be qualified for streaming annoying.

Is there a particular requirement you are having trouble with? I you cannot get an stream set up through them, contact me. There are other solutions.
Agent, I am having the same issues with PBBans.

I can fully understand some of the requirements, but I cant see having to have a dedicated website with a forum and roster and the forum is active? What does that have to do with streaming bans? (when we "twl" first started talking about pbbans I voiced this in the staff forums)

We dropped our site 2 years ago. (cN) Didnt hardly use it at all, why fork up for it? I hit up pbbans anyway last week, to get us up and possibly running - havent gotten 1 single email from them in the slightest. I cant even get the "validate email" email from them!

What Disturbed said... FFS, no gmail accounts? Welcome to post-1999...

And denying an application because a tag is already in use... because multiple tags aren't bound to happen in a database covering multiple games.

Way to be a useless twat
As I said before, if you cannot get an account set up at PBBans for whatever reason, talk to me.

PBBans has strict membership rules in place for a reason. They are important. If you absolutely cannot get an account, there are other options, but you need to come to us and talk about it. We'll get you set up somehow. TWL also has 5 servers that are streaming and available for use. Talk to one of the competition staff about scheduling it.

IRC, Xfire and email are all great. bfac@teamwarfare.com
I had a conversation with Fozzer at PBBans today about some clans that have issues setting up accounts because they don't have a website. A solution I proposed and he accepted was allowing the use of Gamers Portal as a clans website. It's free for you guys and a lot of people are using it anyway because of the scrim mechanism.

So, if you need a website to meet the SA requirements, get everyone signed up at gamersportal.com, set up your clan and add people to the rosters. Make sure you start populating your forums with topics and try to keep using them, even if it is for random BS.

I imagine not since there really isn't much you can do with the platoon page other than show the roster. There aren't any forums or anything. You can always ask someone at PBBans about it though.
For those without a site, I'd be more than happy to host a basic nuke install on the spare room on my webserver for your team, if you're really hurting for a proper place to call home. Just pop me an email at daryl@ihiopc.com

For pbbans, they don't accept battlelog platoons as a proper website, since their seeking something a little more substantial that a 30 second effort. I too agree that the requirements are a bit annoying, but they're not so hindering that those who really want a streaming server can't obtain one.

2 years or so ago I was banned by TWl and pb for hacking which was bull.but water under the bridge. I took the ban no problem. In the course of this the people at pbbans would not leave my clan alone. wanting everyone gyuid to see if they were cheating. I told em if you want it pull it from your records the is no way you are going to hound my team over some bullcrap like this. They dropped all our servers from streaming and we said fine whatever. When the suspension was up after a year I went back to pbbans and asked to have our servers streaming again. I was sent an email by one of them telling me to give him a reason wjhy we should be able to stream again. I sent a email stating I was suspended for a year for using a level up tool and not for hacking the tool has no merit on twl gameplay what so ever. I served my time and would like to stream again. He sent me back an email and told me not good enough I needed to apoligize for my actions and come u; with 5 reasons to let back in. At that time I told him he was on a power trip and to get his shit together. I was not apoligizing for a damn thing and he was nuts. He sent another email and told me to go screw myself so i told em right after your mom climbs off me or wht. He then banned me from pbbans altogether. One thing I will never do i bow down to an asshole over a powertrip. Now we are unable to stream any servers for matches and I am wondering what is your work around for this problem?

esaw wreckahoe

p.s. and yes I have had it out with some of your admins as well when one of them broke into our webpage and changed information on it, and you tryed to ban me over it until i went to the founders of twl.
Here's an idea have somebody else in you clan apply for streaming. Our if you're friends with some that has a streaming account just have them add you server to their account. Problem solved.

A server doesn't have to be owned by the person that has the pbbans account. Really one guy could add everybodies server to their account. You guys getting my drift yet?

If you are unable to stream a server, the only workaround is to forfeit your right to server choice.
no anti cheat guy its not the only option. christ get a box and try to think inside of it.

my options:

1 use someones elses server we have friends

2 use a TWL server U have 5

3 not play the mans game and post up like homie the clown cause homie dont play that
