If you have placed an order for an item you no longer wish to receive and have already been sent a tracking number, please refuse shipment of the package so it will be returned to our warehouse to be processed as a return.
If you need to cancel your order,Contact Us. You will need an active EA Member account. In order to expedite your request, be sure to include the following important information.

Full Name
Order Number
Date Ordered

Yes, I canceled through EA Chat Support..took about 5-8 minutes total. I got confirmation email of the cancellation.

I believe Amazon just emails you a product key and you can redeem it on Origin, similar to the way Steam works.
Did anyone use paypal originally, and if so was the $$$ back into your paypal right away? i.e. after the cancel on Origin.

Thanks for this.

Pre-ordered and looking forward to the savings.

Well done sir.

I used debt card and they said it should take 5-7 days but the full refund will go back into my bank. if you used paypal then i am sure if will go back into your pay pal
For the record, doing this it this way you will probably lose the ability to pre-load and the Physical Warfare Pack, but I don't think either of those are worth $18.

I just cancelled via Donaramu's link.

Even if Amazon doesn't send the key until the 25th, I'm sure the preloaded content will still be available to download via torrent or somewhere else, that should save a few hours.

Im thinking it goes off any pre order, or at least thats what the ppl i talk to think.. because the ppl that preorder a hard copy wont get their case till the 25 so why wouldnt it work the same way?

but i dont really know, just wiseful thinking
It Changed but an update to save that i heard is

Contact origins before pre order and tell them it's your Bday and youll save 25%

Well it really doesn't matter if they send you the key early or the day of because the servers most likely won't be live anyway.

But if we do get the key early AND if Origin takes Amazon keys we will have the opportunity to pre-load directly from Origin, this would be the ideal situation.

Either way, I'm sure a torrent will go up with the preloaded content, this could save several hours on launch day.

I cancelled my Origin pre-order last night, I didn't get any coupons though

***Edit - Amazon now has on the BF3 page that we can pre-load on 10/21, so now i'm definitely glad I cancelled on Origin.***
