PANDAS OFFICIAL TOP 10 BF3 GUN RANKINGS

Remember, this is official, the thread title says so.

In order of best to worst, gun rankings from the Beta:


1. M416 - Assault
2. AEK - Assault
3. SVD - Recon
4. MK11 - Recon
5. M16 - Assault
6. UMP - All
7. PKP PECHNEG - Support
8. A-91 - Engineer
9. AN-94 - Assault
10. .44 Magnum - All

Honorable mentions: F2000. Take an M4 and make it worse in every way, and you have an F2000.



I believe the M416 is the best gun in the game as of right now in the beta. The AEK is a close 2nd, but it came down to comparison. Close/Mid range they are both equal, but at long range the M4 is much better, thus giving it the edge.

The SVD and MK11 are only behind the top two guns because they can't full auto and clear a squad of guys.

The UMP is a beast of a weapon at short/medium/sort of far range. It's only drawback is the extreme long range, gl killing anything with that

The PKP is the gun that has suprised me the most. This thing is a monster, it seems like it never runs out of ammo, can spray forever, is insanely accurate for an LMG and does tons of damage. It reminds me of a more accurate version of the pre-nerf BC2 M60.

A-91 is an all around good gun, but I think the UMP is better in every situation.

The AN-94 would be my #4 assault rifle of choice, I would even take the UMP over it. The only reason it makes the top 10 is because it's impossible to hear.

.44 Magnum. Master this and enjoy killing entire squads in 4 shots.

No love for the AK74u/AK74m huh. Personal fav's but I couldn't argue with your 1-5.

I havn't bothered playing much of the recon class yet so i can't say much on the SVD or MK11. M416's awesome sights + low kick gives it a solid #1. AEK is also a solid gun. Only part i disagree with you is the UMP being lower than the M16. A UMP with an M145 sight is a sniper rifle lol. Otherwise, great list.

I liked the ump most but I guess I gotta give the M4 more of a try.

AN 94 I think is the best 2 shots is all it takes. 2 round burst wins and yes it is hard to track the noise.

I think it is more personal preference hence why its pandas thread. I think they did a good job in balancing them out. Sure needs more but as you can see in this thread everyone will be spread out on choices.

I'm interested to see how the M4 for the Engy kit does and if it can compare at all to the Assault kits version.

It's an identical twin to the M16 in handling, attachments, recoil and even long distance.

I find that the SCAR-H is pretty deadly as well...

I love the F2000, it reminds me a Crysis 1/2 weapon

M16 was my favorite. UMP was bugged and won't be as good release.

I didn't really like the AEK. Yes it did more damage but the recoil was a bit much. I found myself gravitating back to the stock weapons whenever I played assault, or engy for that matter.

Why do you think the UMP was bugged? It shoots a round twice the diameter of the M16...

I agree with the M416 ( overall best weapon ) 2nd best weapon UMP especially when ur defending in the Subway or attacking(stratting thru buildings) **close range**

After playing a few hours today, the guns feel a bit different in this game than the beta. Most noteably, the UMP is a lot worse. Updating list tonight after I have time to play more guns.
