Taking a look at where the game stands and how many active teams there are in the 4v4 SR Ladder. I would like some feedback on maybe creating a 4v4 SR league. It would have to start fairly soon (make it a late spring league).

Post up if this interests your team, or post an alternative suggestion to a league with what "your" team would support.

just my oppinion wasnt asking or telling because i know there's a few other clans that would share my oppinion (not naming) i kinda figured that it wouldn't happen even if lots of ppl wanted it lol... cuz no one really cares what happens anymore but its all good ^_^

comments like that is why teams continue to cheat. I stoped playing this game cause of it. People trading off there cheats is sad. Hey people cant be as good as the King so lets act like we are. O ya See you at a lan BS aka Bitch Slap.

As for the accusations, trust me on this one--some players are just skilled. In BC2 there are good shooters, and then there are EXTREMELY good shooters.

its not so much that they are left.. its that from playing them you can tell they have strats and practice. our ragtag team of which one player literally just got magnum ammo took them a few rounds and all we did was show up and pub it with randoms.

a team like legacy who has basically starters from before when teams like rival dynamic 20id etc. were still playing somewhat will roll them pretty badly.

its like that NM team from before bragging about being the best on the current BF2 ladders..

really? bragging about dominating a ladder where all the good teams have left isn't something to be proud of lol.

ive got 3 predictions after you play a team that has strats/positions/comms like legacy(i know cuz i played on their team and i know what its gonna be like)

1) you call hacks
2) you rage quit the game

I play for XSS right now and as far as shots go in the game as it stands now I haven't really seen anyone substantively better. Sure, we'd probably get taken out by one of the 'elite' teams of yore simply because there is no-one to scrim against. It's hard to develop top level strategies and all that when you have nobody to play against. I think everyone is basically pubbing this game at this point.

Anyway, there is no point in comparing where the game is now to where it was (hell, I don't even know where it was, I wasn't taking it 'seriously' back then). This always happens to every game, though (except maybe CS). You get the initial period of intense competition and then stagnation. And every time people bitch about it.

So the question is not whether the game is dead or not but how you want to use your time playing it. I'd rather have a scheduled match once a week then have to deal with the constant ladder scheduling (not that we will give up the ladder spot).

Also, people whine about cheating more in BC2 than any other game I've played.

I guess I should defend my teammate a bit too. I think the Shredder just doesn't have any patience any more. We play every week on pubs and at least once a night there's some one talking it up, getting owned and rage quitting along with some sort of cheating accusation. I think he views things through the lense of being constantly annoyed by people on pubs who can't take anyone threatening their stats.

People on Squad Rush servers in the US (and AUS/NZ in my opinion) are usually terrible. The sad thing is that BC2 as a game isn't that hard. Having come from other games where the aim/twitch model is far more difficult (RtCW, Q3?) the amount of crap that I get from people on pubs for just being competent at FPSes is just amazing. I think maybe the consoles have made everyone soft.

Anyway, if you want to get one of the old school comp teams back together and scrim us/own us or whatever, please do. We're pretty much always up to scrim with anyone who can actually play the game.
