Why is the squad rush ladder normal? hc plox :P

Hi,

As the title says, why is there no squad rush hardcore ladder? To be frank Bc2 on normal is absolute trash, with the ridiculous spotting feature, to the amount of damage you can sustain, etc. My point is it's a much slower game that takes a lot less skill. We all come here for competitive matches, yet the best match function is on the worst possible gameplay option. Please admins inform me why this is so?

Hardcore ladders have not drawn much interest here at TWL. The one that we opened capped out at 10-15 active teams.

We may open other ones in the future if the interest and teams are present.

You are going to be flamed with that kind of opinion.

The HC vs Vanilla debate has come and gone, and we're not going to tolerate the flaming anymore. If you have constructive input then feel free to post it, but blatantly flaming either gamestyle will lead to your post being edited and you being banned.

We will revisit the interest in a 4v4 HC SR ladder after the amnesty period.

Finally is over, well...talking about the thread, I cant see too much teams wanting to play HC, seeing the other TWL ladders.

Thanks for the reply at least admin, unfortunate though :/, I just don't get the same sense of urgency and teamwork through normal. What would constitute enough teams for a squad rush ladder HC? 10? etc.

i believe you will find having a 4v4 hc ladder move active than the 8v8. most of the teams that have joined the 8v8 ladder left because they couldn't get 8 people. but most had enough to field a 4v4 team. it is in my opinion that if you open a 4v4 hc ladder you could go ahead close the 8v8 ladder. out of the 15 teams that have been on there only 5 have really been active. just my 2 cents.

First off, posting that the game mode preferred by the majority of the community is "absolute trash" and "takes a lot less skill" isn't going to accomplish anything but flaming.

Second, I agree with asshat. I think removing one or both of the 8v8 Rush ladders and replacing it with a 4v4 hardcore SR isn't going to hurt anything.
